Pitchfork Market + Kitchen

We've been to Pitchfork a number of times over the years. The staff is what has constantly made us come back. They are all simply amazing.
The menu has changed a few times over the years, and for the most part has remained decent quality.

Some people have commented that the store is overpriced. From other reviews, management has indicated they are constantly adjusting their prices to be more competitive. I can say that the prices for their ready-made meals are very competitive if not cheaper than takeout with better food. I looked at the price of some raw meat and found the same cut to be much more expensive at Co-op. I’m so happy that they carry bread from the best local bakeries in Saskatoon. There other bakery items looked yummy and competitively priced. I checked out the small produce section and I found their prices were competitive with Sobeys or Co-op. I didn’t check out the dry goods sections but I’m happy to see a lot of choices I’ve locally made items. Today I spoke with a manager who was very interested in receiving constructive feedback. This is a quality store that if supported, will grow into a hometown proud business.

After numerous trips to Costco and seeing the business name, we finally decided to stop in before heading home. The store side is quaint but has a decent selection for it's size. We haven't sat in the cafe/restaurant area... yet.

Since our first stop, we've been back and purchased baked treats, bread, buns, produce and other odds and ends. We now always stop after our big-store grocery run.

I love this place it’s the closest thing that you can get to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s in Saskatoon. Nothing like it but it’s as close as you can get! I love their premade foods. They are a great value and always delicious.

Always good food. Lots of local options and prices are very reasonable. I'm disappointed that we aren't getting one in Midtown. It would have been perfect for downtown. 😔

Finally, I have visited this place after I fuels up in Costco.
First time impressed me that atmosphere is so comfortable and nice. It brings me back 10 more years ago the feeling while I were travelling in Europe. Leisure feeling and no pressure atmosphere, where is the best place for a small bite and grocery after work or enjoy weekend by yourself.
The Kitchen provided lots of fresh food, and they have fresh pasta in package you could need cook 3-5 minutes. Also, a dine-in area for a cup of coffee with sandwich, that will be awesome.
I just have some chicken wings for a quick grocery, reasonable price in this place and served.

It was a great atmosphere! We loved all our meals , our server was fab! And even better we could do a bit of shopping after !

We where planning to stop by to grab a oven cooked meal because we felt like 20 minutes was not enough time to dine. I was sitting on their patio waiting for my boyfriend grab a few beer from the liquor store. Kennedy came out and convinced us to stay and promised us it wasn't an inconvenience. She is the definition of good service. We enjoyed our experience and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.

Such a great place to get those ready meals. Picked up this Mac and cheese and was so good. Also there marinated meats are so tasty, just cut the pack open and throw them on the bbq.Cant wait to try new creations!

First time eating at the Cafe. Great food and great service.
The smoked salmon bagel and avocado toast were delicious.
Our server, Debbie was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
We'll be back again, probably for some groceries too!

Great breakfast good price $8 for 3pcs of bacon 2 eggs and toast coffee $1.75 great value for breakfast. .

Chef Dan and his team make creative, nutritious and delicious recipes that keep me coming back for more. In a time where the cost of groceries is rising I’m happier and more satisfied paying $10 for a made-from-scratch lunch at Pitchfork Kitchen than a mystery-meat burger and cold fries from McD’s. The staff in his kitchen are kind and considerate. I continue to return for the Grilled Cheese, Poblano Cheddar soup, Garlic Fries and Avocado toast. Stop by for happy hour and you won’t be disappointed by the prices.

As for the grocery department I’m amazed by the selection for such a small store. The staff take pride in their workplace and even the bathrooms are spotless. The frozen cookies and cinnamon buns are delicious, the deli is well stocked and all the staple produce is available. Amy is always so pleasant and helpfull when I need assistance however the whole team is eager to help.

My only complaint is there is a points/rewards system that could be more informative. How many points did I collect and when can I redeem them? How can I redeem them?

Went today, was opening day. Staff were friendly, store was very aesthetically pleasing. Lots of local products. Looking forward to do more shopping there!

That lemon roasted chicken is super moist and delicious. I never had it before. What a welcome change from the salty, greasy chickens I have tasted elsewhere. Great addition to my grocery list. Thank you for such new, creative, ways to present roasted chicken!

Great selection including local products, and competitive prices. Restaurant is amazing, we order takeout regularly and it’s always top notch. One of the best if not best burger and fries in town.

Very good food waitress missed quite a large portion of our order.

This Market is my absolute favorite to shop. The interior is bright and inviting and the staff very friendly & helpful. They have some of the best prepared meals for sale, and I always enjoy seeing the local made/grown produce for sale. The pricing is still extremely on par and competitive with other grocery stores. Pitchfork has an app that customers can use to view weekly flyers and sales as well as collect points on every purchase for redemption of $$ off at the register. This market is by far the way I hope most grocery stores go.

Always fresh, and quality produce. Delicious ready to serve meals. I love that they offer free delivery with their online orders.

It’s a great small market with an amazing selection of local products. Every time we go in there is always something new we just have to try. Prices seem to be competitive with other stores and in the case of staple items and produce, prices seem to be lower than most.

All of the take home meals we’ve tried have been fantastic . We love how easy it is to run in and grab a delicious, quality meal to take home.

Pitchfork has also become our stop for our morning coffee run. I would argue they have some of the best coffee I town if you like a bold cup of coffee.

We feel very lucky to live so close to such a unique shopping and dinning experience!
