Nice local grocery store. Everything I needed was in stock and fresh. The staff were friendly and easily answered my question.

The store was clean and inviting, and there was ample parking.

This place is a lifesaver saver the for Lakewood, Rosewood area of Saskatoon. Especially when you don’t need bulk buys from Costco. Also they have water refills and fresh produce.

One of my favourite grocery stores in Saskatoon. Friendly staff + easy layout of the store + never super busy. Wish they had more variety sometime though.

Love stopping there to shop. Lots of nice baking there to pick up if needed. Easy to get to for sure

The blonde cashier is the pride and joy of this company. She really went above and beyond! Another customer before me had dropped a jar of tomato sauce and it spilled everywhere. I nearly slipped but thanks to this diligent worker, the spill was blocked off immediately and she got it cleaned up within seconds. If it wasn’t for her, someone could’ve been seriously hurt. Thank you Independent! I’ll definitely be back knowing how dedicated your employees are when it comes to an emergency.

Cashiers are sooo humble and well trained... They should get a raise....

The staff here are friendly and helpful, and don't run away when you ask for help (like a lot of other stores). I love the clothing clearance section here, because they always have a great selection for great prices, which makes clothing 2 growing kids a lot more affordable (and the preteen and teenager both love the clothes!).

I always have such a great experience shopping here. Michelle is so wonderful and always provides such great customer service, as do the rest of the cashiers here.

Excellent I am in Love with their in house baked bread. Ofcourse rest everything is lovely too. Love the place well spaced out and kind staff too.

Good option for fresh produce. Friendly staff and variety of options available. Slightly on higher price but great quality.

It's my neighborhood store and I go there almost every day so I always get fresh items. There seems to be lots of help available but I've memorized the store so I'm usually okay.

The online grocery ordering and pick up system via Independent is awesome. Super convenient. If something in your order isn't available, they call you to let you know and also suggest substitutes. The store is hardly ever crowded. When the lines get longer, they call in more staff to operate additional tills. The pharmacy and the staff there are also fantastic.

I do my groceries shopping here as it is close to my place and they often have discounted sales. They have good staff and great store layout. You can easily locate whatever you're looking for and you won't spend too much time at the counter as well.

I really like this new store. It's clean and smells great. A great change from the former Extra Foods it replaced. They carry all kinds of interesting groceries, including locally sourced products as well as all the President's Choice line. They even had fresh pickerel the other day! The meat department is excellent. While they do carry some No Name brand items, if that's what you're looking for stick to the crowded mess at Superstore. It is more expensive than the big Superstore, but for me it's worth going here instead. They have the best part of Superstore and none of the hassle.

Great close place to get the basics.

I like this store. It has good bakery and mear departments. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the major things I like about this store is its layout. The aisles are well marked and items are grouped logically. One can find what they want easily, unlike some of its competitors which may you wander around the store trying to get your groceries.
