Yes, they're the best greengrocer in the area, but I'm constantly amazed by the depth and range of packaged goods. If you're looking for quality or exotic products, you'd do well to make this the first place you look. Outremont/Mile End is lucky to boast this store.

Always a great experience here. Fresh variety of fruits and vegetables. I go often and the staff are always friendly and remember their customers. They're always helpful with any products and very knowledgable.
Good choice of hot snacks too

One of the biggest fruit strore in the area, the owner bring fresh stuff everyday dirrectly from the market, large variety of product from all around the world. They offer free delivery(you can't find that anywhere), telephone order, sms order, email order, sadly there is no online order for the moment. Everything is clean, shelf are always full, yes maybe sometime you can find an expired item but every store does... there is more than 10 000 different products in the store it's impossible to be perfect. They sell prime canadian striploin at very good price.Big selection of asian product, One of the largest variety of spices. Gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan they have everything. If you need something they dont have, you tell Bob and they will get it! Plus you don't have to worry if something wrong with your purchase they will credit you even if you lost the receipt

Formerly la Fruiterie de Montreal, and still my all-time fave fruit & vegee stand now in their new awesome location. Teas and spices galore, olive selection to die for, great fruits & vegees, lots of organic, lots of legumes. Eggplant, dried okra, huge pomegranates, mangos of all sorts... Selection of different feta cheeses and various others. Had a samosa on the way home which was tasty too. All very reasonably priced. Yummm!

This is my favourite grocery store in Montreal. Even though I am closer to PA, I will walk extra blocks to shop here. Everything is already stocked (unlike PA), organized and the people working here know everything about all their products. Such convivial service, stress-free, clean, great music. My go-to store!

We absolutely love shopping here! We go there every Sunday for our weekly groceries and the staff is always so friendly. The produce is fresh and they have a ton of specialty items for people with different dietary restrictions. For such a tiny, local store, they are extremely well stocked. They also do free local delivery. Highly recommend!

super cute. They sell these adorable tote bags I've been meaning to cop. They're selection is large. Lots of organic, fair trade, artisan, and local fancy stuff. Best part is that their produce always looks good and is super cheap. oh, also their avocados are prime

Love the samosas there; fresh and warm anytime. Bob (owner) is a really nice guy. It’s a little bit more expensive (specially
Fruits and vegetables) if you compare it
With supermarkets. However, they have a great selection of organic products

I think this place is so charming, the staff is nice and the selection is just great. The prices are good and everything looks good to eat. I work nearby so I like that they have hot options like samosas and Jamaican meat patties. They fill you up and are so good. Also they are a dollar which is unbeatable.

Amazing selection of fresh and dry produce - fruit and veg is particularly good and great value. Stuff are ultra helpful. Their samosas are off the hook.

Bob is awesome! He has every fruit/vegetable spice or condiment one could ever desire! If he doesn't, he will get it for you. Great prices on fruits and veggies! Highly recommended!

This place recently expanded into the old Inter-Marché space on Parc av. No comparison with the dingy, stale Inter-Marché. Variety is strong, place is nicely lit, prices are reasonable, good specials, lots of fine foods, vegan things, olives. Staff are nice, same folks as at the smaller store. This could seriously compete with PA, a couple blocks to the south.

Bob, the owner, is great. He's the hardest working human being I know. Always has a kind word and smile. Oh ya, and his fruits and vegetables are always wonderful too. Thanks Bob, you add a lot to our community.

Awesome grocery store. Perfect place to find all the little things you wouldn't usually find in a large grocery store. They have lots of many different choices. I went in looking for one thing and ended up coming out with 15 things 🤣...dangerous store for your wallet but worth going.
Will definitely be coming back for more 🙂

This place is amazing! So organized & prices right.
The people managing it are the owners of the popular store « fruiterie mileend » also on parc avenue, a few steps away. Fruits and veggies are so fresh and customer service is top notch!

Fruiterie prospers in the happy grounds between high-$treet organic and your average produce market. Fruiterie's "living walls" of vegetables are actually artistically beautiful. They also stock an impressive array of non-produce products and that makes it fairly easy to set Fruiterie as your all-in-one grocery go-to.

The owner here (Bob) is almost always working at the front desk and is always friendly and knows the weather forecast. Fruterie is a responsible business - they donate unused produce to charities around the mile-end, and they don't shred their produce unlike PA/Provigo (I forget which one shreds their produce). My roommate also dumpster dives at Fruterie and all the employees are very chill with it. Tons of organic produce (and a lot of it is unpackaged), and organic dairy and meat as well - a lot of it is local where possible. Like my friend Ceci said about this place on Yelp, it is truly "an oasis away from late stage capitalism"
