I was here the other day and had such a great experience! The guy who helped me was so knowledgeable and kind, he answered my many questions and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help me in choosing the right food for my cat. It's not everyday you get customer service like that anymore, highly recommend this location as the staff are awesome!!

My cat hid under table there one time and staff were so kind and patient to help me get her out.
Always shop here for foods and never had a problem.

Tyler at the Bayview Village Petvalu provided remarkable customer service. He went above and beyond providing his expertise regarding pet food. Super friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff, and reasonablypriced grooming available. Good selection of chews, treats, toys, apparel, and supplies. My pup loves getting a fancy treat whenever we visit.

My cat is very pick with her litter box. Recently she broke her litter box so I had to get a new one. Unfortunately she didn't like any of new boxes (I bought 4- gone to water or donated- one after the another because she stopped using it and started peeing on my carpet and bed.. And eventually she kept holding it in. Poor thing!) On my 5th attempt, I visited this pet value during my continuous hunt for litter box. Due to sanitary reasons, the return policy for litter boxes were final sale. But since I didn't know if my cat would use this so I needed to speak to the staff and asked for exceptions for return in case my cat doesn't use this either. I believe it was the owner or manager (who used to be a veterinarian), listened to our conversation and made the exceptional case and approved for me to bring back the litter at the end of the day so I can test it out with my cat. This was $85 litter box so I was so glad!! Thankfully my cat used this box and I didn't have to return. I just wanted to show my appreciation for her kindness. Thank you!

Super friendly location, seems they like to hire employees who are very friendly and personable. They like to talk! Lol

RJ provided great customer service, she was very helpful and patient with all my questions. She took the time to help me search for other flavours when they didn’t carry it in store and said they could order it for me. Would definitely go back and look for her.

Went to the Shepard and provost location. Clean store and friendly knowledgeable staff. Ashley was incredibly knowledgeable and suggested some great products that my dog loves. The treats and food are loved by my dog. Also spoke with the groomer whom will be seeing my dog soon.
Definitely going back there.

The staff here are super helpful. I have a new puppy & I'm a first time dog owner. They spent time with me going over food choices as she is a picky eater, leash options, adding pumpkin for better stool. And showed me where to find everything.
