Save-On-Foods

This Save -on - foods is on 23 Avenue and is close to the Medows Recreation center. There are many other businesses in the same location. There is free parking space available. This is a large supermarket with a drive through pharmacy. This store has many products, grocery, meat etc catering to the East Indian community. Tuesdays there is a huge crowd that comes to shop . They have a bakery and fast food section inside the store. The store sells pet food and accessories too. There is a section for baby products. The meat and seafood have a section where it's marinated and ready for barbecue. They have many sale offers which are worth looking into. . The staff were helpful. The store is well maintained and bright. It's wonderful that they have started an initiative to include the local community.

Service is always great. The staff almost always have a smile when asked for help. I appreciate them being strategically around the store ready to assist. I often wish that the self-service stations would have the option to punch my phone number in for rewards. I can be a bit of an inconvenience when you have to get staff to scan their card, especially when they are already helping someone else.

This store is my favourite, it’s always neat and the staff and managers are always so welcoming. I always find what I’m looking for because of all variety of products! I especially want to thank Jag, the store manager, who helped me when I was looking for a specific product. I have never gotten service like this anywhere else and I definitely recommended this store to everyone! They have so much variety. I also want to thank the cashier, she was so friendly and welcoming and very quick and efficient!

I love shopping here.The staff is very friendly too and always given the Best possible service with a big smile.

I literally only shop here for the Tuesday throwback deals of $1.50 items. I was warmly greeted and a shopping cart was given to me. In self check out I forgot my payment cards so I swift went to go back and get them and I was also assisted with making sure a few of my items are fixed to be $1.50. I went at 7am right when the store opened. I didn't expect such kind service at 7am lol but thank you. Wal Mart still has better deals on items and better prices but Save on Foods has a better selection of items. ie) jack fruit.

I'm a carnivore. I eat only meat, eggs and butter. I can walk in to this location and the butcher helps me without complaint so we can both get on with our day.

We absolutely love our new Save on Foods in the Meadows - there kabob special 2$ each and sausage happy hour are our favourites - you’ve got to get there early if you want your favs the Souvlaki chicken and pork kabobs are the best flavour we’ve found so far - a must try! And freeze well don’t forget to buy some titziki sauce too!
We will be back every week 🙌🏼😋

Feb16/21 They are a hot ticket item it seems lately and can be rather tricky to get the ones you want - I hope they can try and make more of the boneless chicken souvlaki since it’s so popular and sells out so fast ( they often have more made up on trays in the back so if you don’t see them in display case just ask attendant if there are more in the back - sometimes they make more up too - so if you don’t mind waiting a bit ( they are so worth the wait ) 🤟🏻

I shop here all the time. Today, Jag in customer service helped me. He was extremely respectful, polite, and understanding. Thank you, Jag!

I just recently started shopping at. Save-On again because they have such great produce and I was tired of the terrible service at Superstore. I placed an order for pick up (which is a free service) but when I got there part of order had mistakenly went with an order for delivery. The manager himself came out to explain what had happened and asked if I minded waiting while they put the rest of my order together. It was not a large order, so I didn’t mind waiting. They provided extra produce to ensure I got more than the original order charged me for. The manager also gave me a $25 gift card. Excellent customer service!

Recently I visited Save on Foods for bouquet and Gurleen who works in that department was so polite and sweet. She also gave suggestions about flowers.

It was a win-win, I needed chicken, they had chicken, I purchased chicken, took chicken home, cooked chicken, ate chicken, enjoyed chicken, will buy chicken again...🐔

Definately my favorite Grocery Store.Found everything I needed.Staff was great n very helpful,very professional.1 staff member actually really stuck out to me n his name was Zachary. He worked the till.People today are so stressed out .Yet,he NOT only struck up a conversation but went out of his way to make me very comfortable.As I suffer from anxiety .He was like he could read my face n HE was EXCELLENT .HE HAS BEEN WITH YOU 3 YRS, THIS YEAR!!!YOU ARE TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE HIM.DEFINATELY WOULD MAKE A GREAT TEAM PLAYER N MANAGER ONE DAY THATS FOR SURE....THANK YOU ZACHARY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ❤ 💙 !!!!!

Two days I bought a truffle cake and I'm 100 % certain I brought it home but today I simply can't find it ANYWHERE. This stuff happens a lot more since I hit my 70s (sigh) but at my wife's urging, I called the store. Without hesitation they said to bring in my receipt and they'd give me another cake. My wife & I are ALWAYS treated so nicely at this branch, far better than any other store we go to, masked up and all!

Staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I enjoyed my experience in this bright, well organized, clean store.

This is a great location especially for South Asian goods! Lots of selection! Also thr carry egg free cakes huge bonus. Super tasty
