Great place for fresh fruits and veggies. Good aisles and great variety of items to choose from. They have nice parking place - and effective place to park shopping carts.

My favorite retail store.

Very good place for fresh vegetables and groceries. Great ambient, neatly structured place. Great deals for cakes and vegetables.

They had all the food I needed at their regular low prices. Store was busy but cashiers were quick. The store was clean and produce was decent. Overall I would visit again if I was looking for low prices. they also offer price matching. Just bring your flip app with you and search other stores flyers. You will receive the flyer prices on the. Please don't do this on the spot. Plan it out ahead. So you know which items are price matched. Please do this bc other people have other places to be. Be efficient with the process

What can I say, this grocery store takes good care of there community when it comes to national variety and affordability. Staff is considerate enough to spell the item out for you if needs be as well. 😂 #familyfriendly

Local supermarket that has almost everything I need. Generally clean and well organized. Prices are mostly on the cheaper side which is fine by me.

Lots of free parking. Pretty good Winners in the same plaza. Very accessible due to DVP and 401 being very close to this store. Not as high a profile as some other upscale supermarkets but great for the average person like me.

I had the best experience while shopping last Monday afternoon. First I was greeted with a friendly "hello", by an employee who was stocking fruit. While trying to find my favorite Korean soup, a second employee greeted me and offered assistance. He was very funny and made me laugh actually. When I found the isle and was browsing the soups there, I had a third worker offer assistance.

All three of these employees were busy stocking shelves, but acknowledged customers. They were so friendly and engaging.

The good experience ended when I got to the cash. Basically checkout hell. They decided to close the Express. Only 2 registers were left open. The line I was in, the cashier walked away. It was like watching life move in slow motion . Didn't apologize or explain herself. Seemed to clean up another check out area. Had nothing to do with cash. Anyway, it took 8-10 minutes to get out.

Horrible service from your cashiers. They should learn a thing or two about the workers who are merchandising. They're clearly running the store properly. They are cleaning, stocking (at a good pace), AND helping customers. Wow.

Is my Local Grocery Store. Fruit and vegetables are always well stocked and fresh. All promotional items are always plentiful and well stocked unless it is a very popular item. At this location instant coffee, water and rice seem to sell out quickly. A lot of local businesses seem to stock up on promotional items. Store is always clean and all staff is always helpful and friendly. Sure has come a long ways since the early days

here is a one of the best grocery store which has a lot if high quality food with a reasonable price

Although I have not been to this location before, I am fully familiar with what products to expect and how they are laid out. Right when you go in you are overwhelmed with fresh produce to pick to your heart's content. Aisles are easy to navigate and in case you ever get lost, the staff are super friendly and always willing to come to your rescue. Bonus points to a cashier who is very welcoming and ready to handle any situation that comes her way!

On my way from the Dr's office I stopped by to pick up some essentials.
I had never been in this supermarket. I was pleasantly surprised as to how clean and organized it was. There was social distancing.
Ara the gentleman who was in the vegetable section
was phenomenal.I could not lift my arm due to an injection I just
had, he went out of his way to accomodate me. Thank you Food Basics
for having such a kindred spirit. Ara really made my day. Thank you Ara and may God bless you for your kindness and help you gave me.

I'm visiting another Food Basics store today and this one is in Scarborough.

This store's interior has a brighter lighting system that I like because it just makes the place more enjoyable to shop in!

There's a Pharmacy here and pharmacist on duty which I haven't noticed at the other Food Basic locations I've shopped at. This is good to know.

Lots of specials so look for the red/white "Locked Down" price tags.

I scoured the whole store but this was a quick shopping trip as I needed a 12-pack of Coke $4.88, Club House Chili Seasoning Mix, a can of red kidney beans, two cans of sliced mushrooms, and a can of water chestnuts.

It was a fierce battle but I successfully fought off an urge to buy a box of 3 Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Almond ice cream bars! The dessert vibes were powerful.

Checkout was quick and store staff were friendly.

Parking was plentiful.

Great prices compared to many other grocery stores. Thank you Food Basics for keeping the prices relatively low. Has a good selection of products. My go to place for weekly groceries.

Good location, sometimes the fresh fruits are rotten from inside, otherwise it’s good store for all food items.
