Mercator Euro Mini Mart

Mercator Euro Mini Mart is a GEM we found a few weeks ago while looking for authentic Serbian / European food in North York. They have a fantastic selection of food & goods (ready to-go prepared foods, meat & cheese selections, dry shelf goods (jams, lentils, spices, canned foods), freshly made freezer foods (burek, pita, chevapi, dumplings), desserts, church candles... EVERYTHING!!! This year we decided to have them cater food for our religious day (Slava) during Lent (posna Sarma - Lenten cabbage rolls; posna paprike - Lenten stuffed peppers, and made kolache (Slava bread). Tanja was incredible to deal with, so easy-going and everything was prepared as ordered and tasted delicious!! We had so many compliments. Mnogo hvala!! 🙏

Went there recently. New owners, but still the same concept.
The only remark is about the sausage ( dry and hard)
This store has existed for decades and is always full of goods .

Nice little food mart with European finds.

Highly recommend. Excellent lunch special love the lamb and beef mix. Also dried meat sausages deli and fresh bread. Must try if you haven’t already.

Excellent source of former Yugoslavian products. Staff is always helpful and attentive. Their ready to order food is wonderful too.

Very good store and food like cevapi, pljeskavica (hamburger), Karadjordjeva snicla (schnitzel). Also, they make by order roasted pig or lamb, and they have many products from Southern Europe (Balkan) area. This is a small plaza but there are always empty parking spots when you need them.

I was literally starving but as soon as I stepped in I was sure I was at the right place at the right time. Theirs sandwiches are truly delicious. Many European products are available as well in-store.

European deli with a focus on Eastern European products in general and Serbian products in particular. Great staff. Lunch (and dinner) counter and seating available. Excellent menu with lots of choices. Good strong coffee also available, in particular, ask for Turkish coffee...it's great!

Delicious European food! It is always joyful experience visiting the store and finding my favourite childhood snacks!

The outside is nice, but the inside looks SO cool with all the meats!!!!

Mmmmm the food was really delicious!!!! I ordered the chicken shush kebab! It came with fries and tomatoes. The fries were perfectly cooked. The tomatoes looked really nice haha and the chicken tasted... like chicken lol. Good quality and not so fatty. It was wrapped in Bacon but that just added to the deliciousness for sure.

Here’s why chicken is good for you: it’s high in protein, good for your heart, organs, eyes, has B vitamins in it. The fries were potatoes so they were a great complex carbohydrate. Added together it was a great post-workout meal. They also gave me tomatoes which were loaded with the antioxidant Lycopene. So I really felt it was a very good mix of food for my body.

Their FRESH made in house Serbian Sausages (called chevapi) are the best!
Their home made baked kidney beans are yummy.
Very friendly staff. I highly recommend MERCATOR.

My wife, two friends and I came to lunch. What a find! Friendly, good atmosphere and super food !! We will definitely be returning- thank you to all the staff. Hope we weren’t too noisy.

Yummy cevapi!!! My tummy is so happy now :)) And they also have Fanta Shokata! I had that in Croatia 2 years ago and it's delicious.

Cevapi sandwich was amazing. The bread used is like nothing you’ve had before. Try it. Plus you can get other European items that you cannot find elsewhere.

In Mercator you can buy ćevapčići, pljeskavice i slično. You can buy them with pork or lamb alike. You can take them out or have it grilled on the spot. You can eat in or take out quality food for lunch at reasonable prices. • The same goes for burek which is "Prva Liga" (Premier Ligue!) • Mineral water from a number of countries. • Chocolade products from a # of countries • Baby shampoos & soaps • Pavlovićeva mast (!) • Deli products • THE PLACE DOES CATERING FOR PARTIES. • & so on & so forth...

Love this place since they changed owners. Eastern European deli and products, fresh and in stock, reasonably priced.
