Food Basics

I went here on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. I have been coming to this Food Basics for years but I felt the need to write a review based on my experience with an employee named Shevaz or Chevaz. After coming here for years I can actually say that I experienced customer service and satisfaction as it should be. I was approaching him and just before I could say hello he said hi how are you he is very polite and well mannered I asked him to check if something was in stock for me in the back and he was very quick on his feet. Definitely one of the best employees I’ve come across at Food Basics, I would come back just to say hi to Shevaz. Thank you for doing a commendable job.10/10 Food Basics😊😊😊

I like this food basics as compare to others.
Sometimes gets really good deals on Indian grocery.
Customer service is always great.
Plenty of parking area available.
Sometimes they run of trollies and you have to wait to get one.
Most of the groceries are in stock.

I'm an Instacart worker and I noticed every time Chevaz is working, the produce department is always full, fresh and organized. You all have a good guy in your store.👍

The Staff are really friendly, especially Vinesh! I may have spelled his name wrong but it’s pronounced the same. My dad was wearing earbuds and accidentally yelled at Vinesh without being aware. However, Vinesh remained calm and handled the situation in an appropriate matter. He was also really helpful with me finding the items on my list. Thank you Vinesh and keep up the excellent job!

Braided hair guy in the produce department is really nice and helpful seems like a hardworking young man keep this guy. Produce is pretty fresh too which is good this is my first time shopping here and I definitely will come back.

Super friendly food basic, specially the lady at self check out , she is super kind and exteremely helpful and super helpful and respectful attitude, I met her again Ms. Kalima. May Allah (God) bless her, once again thank you so much my dear sister.

Chivaz works well, he's very polite and helpful. He always keeps the store looking clean and full.

Great store usually busy but that’s fine. Sale items always stocked when I’m there. Use the self check out unless you have a full cart.

The lady with purple hair was super helpful and nice to me!!!

Usually I go 2 times a week,
Try to go at weekends because there are discount available on specific items. Most of thr things are available and even Indian food are available at reasonable cost.
While as of inflation groceries have become expensive but overall it is good

I bought this poinsettia plant at food basics. It is a very nice plant very fresh. I like this food basics.

Very surprising good value and availability of produce. More people in the area should concider this place as a good all round food source as it has a variety that is useful for everyday living

Good grocery store with competitive price

Great prices, clean, some staff are friendly. Today I went to get a few things and I heard a girl say " well since I was interrupted now I can finish my story..." and proceeded with a personal story on the floor as another girl stocked the milk section. Her tone was quite rude to the customer who was asking where he could find something as well. I went to cash out and the cashier was very polite and sweet. She was patient with an elderly customer infront of me which was nice to see after seeing how the other employee treated someone. 1 bad apple out of the bunch, over all great store. This was at centennial mall...

Not the biggest stores I believe, no Deli department, but they have almost everything that you will look for in the flyer.

I realized today that 5his food basics hasn't many carts as it was so also last time I shopped there.

Great variety of options at low prices.
I've only had to wait in line one time and it was less than a 10 minute wait to get into the store.
The checkout process is well organized and smooth sailing.
The staff is mostly great!
