Mr. Surprise

Came into this plaza for dessert and happened to stop by with friends. We made 6 tote bags and we had Tutu as our helper. She was so wholesome and patient with us. She gave us a memorable experience. - Thank you!! All the staff were so nice. 10/10 would recommend!

The extremely cute displays of stickers of one of my favourite shows drew me in and the fact that the art was from local artists got me to buy said cute stickers. This is be a great place for to treat yourself while supporting local artists and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

One of my favourite things about this area is Mr Surprise! Such a cute store, really friendly staff, and an endless selection of adorable blind boxes. The store is set up with lots of clear display cases to show what’s in the boxes, and is organized very well. My favourite part about Mr Surprise is their mini fan expo artist alley towards the back of the store! There is always so much wonderful art from talented creators and this is such a great way to support local artists.

This is the most aesthetic blind box shop that I’ve been to.

This is located in midland and finch where there’s plenty of restaurants and bubble tea.

I came here before and after they had renovations. I was impressed with the space and amount of blind boxes they sell. After renovations, the store became so much cuter! They have so many large figurines!

I also love that there’s a display of bind box figurines that’s unboxed so we can see.

The back also has a very nice seating area where you can unbox the toys.

Overall, the toys are pretty reasonable price. It does add up, but there’s a point system. I believe you get 1 point for order? I’m not 100% sure though.
Once you get 300 points, you can get a blind box for free. So make sure you sign up!

Also I just noticed on yelp, if you check in you can get 10% off? I haven’t tried this yet, but next time I will.

A wonderful and fun environment for Blind Boxes! I had always enjoyed seeing the staff be just as excited as the customers whenever the latter opens up their purchases. I've gotten a few boxes myself and had many different friendly staff help me out, especially Minn ^^ She's been an absolute sweetheart so if you ever need help, ask her for assistance! Will always come back for new releases ♥

Mr.Surprise isn’t just a store it’s a community. It brings people together and is full of happiness. I come here every time I feel down (and even when I don’t) and I always leave feeling better. It’s not just Mr. Surprise but also msteastation and surprise lab, the franchise is just full of joy from its staff to its products. The surprise boxes are always great and they’re consistently restocking popular favs and the bubble tea is the best I’ve ever had, it’s so fresh! My family and I will continue to return again and again!

Easily one of the coolest places I’ve been to! They offer so many fun things to do (DIY apparels, Photo Booth, bubble tea etc.). Staff are extremely nice, answered many questions that my friend and I had. Very friendly! Additionally, their Photo Booth offered digital versions of photos as well through a QR code! When my friend and I missed the QR code the staff (a guy with glasses) went out of their way to go help us retrieve the photos (digital version)! They also have a cute dog in the bubble tea station. 10/10 would recommend and plan on re-visiting!

The prices here are cheaper than most blindbox stores and they have new items every week. Also, the staff are really kind and the store ingages a lot with the blind box community. They host blind box events and helps collectors sell and trade their figures securely. Not only that, they offer free pickups, and help hold your item when you drop off an item you are trading or selling.

Mr. Surprise always has great customer service and a wide range of items in store. Loved their soft launch of their sister stores, Surprise Lab and Tea Station, also enjoy visiting Mini Surprise! Always a go to spot for trading blind boxes and seeing new small business artists in the shop! Can’t wait to see what else is in store for them! 10/10 photobooth at both mr. surprise and surprise lab!

Very excellent selection of blind boxes in the toy store. The tea station next door has a fun selection of tasty teas. I got the Lychee Iced tea with less sugar - tangy, sweet, and refreshing.

A surprising amount of blindboxes in this little store! Some more recognizable names like sanrio and pixar, and some I wasn't familiar with that still looked really cool and well designed.
There's a lounge area in the back to open boxes and talk/trade with others. You can also trade what was in your box for what is on display for that series if you don't like what you got.
The staff are super friendly and clearly like working there!

Unique place in a run down mall with unique blind boxes. The lady at the cashier was nice and advertised that they were doing a live stream to sell open blind boxes you can choose from. Not sure if those are frequent.
I purchased a hedgehog blind box and luckily I got one in the style I wanted.
The cost is from +10cad, some wooden zodiac figures were around 25cad. There are some larger 20cm ones as well with cool sculpts. They also have an online store with delivery.

Will come again when I can.

It's amazing to see how many Sonny angel fans lining up at the store before store opens and yes I know it's crazy but staffs are so friendly and giving out free drinks that's very nice gesture !!! Thank you Mr and Mrs donut and team working so hard to get all the SA ready for 2pm

I went back to Mr Surprise today, Sat Feb 3, right at the opening time of 12pm noon. There were already a lot of people inside, so that’s a great sign! The boy who was working cash today was so friendly and helpful. He was wearing a black hoodie and unfortunately I was not able to get his name, but I was really grateful for his amazing service. Even thought the store was busy, he went above and beyond in his service!

I also love checking out the local artist area in the back of the store. Mr Surprise is a really good spot for blind boxes because they don’t inflate their prices like crazy, and the staff are always so nice!

Amazing products, prices and friendly customer service! I love it here! I received a birthday gift for being a member (lulu the piggy plush)! What a nice surprise :)

My friends and I are addicted to blind boxes and Mr Surprise. I love how they created a great community through PSL, Discord, Instagram, their trading corner and hosting different types of events. All their staff are always nice and curious about the blind boxes you are trying to get as well.

I first came to this store last June and I fell in love! the staff were all so nice and there were a lot of blind boxes to choose from! I ended up buying 2 whole sets and they gave me discount because I was a new customer T-T <3

Always have a great time when going to Mr. surprise the employees there are always so generous and so nice and welcoming! This is my definite go to place for blind boxes!

The best specialty store in Toronto for blind boxes. Sure, there are some that are sold in other retailers scattered across the city, but not many with nearly as wide of a selection as Mr. Surprise.

The prices are as you would expect out of blind boxes--they are expensive, but that is not the fault of the store itself. They are making small margins off of them.

Luckily, this store offers some benefits to its customers, such as the ability to trade figurines for others and also a warning label affixed to boxes that may be potential duplicates due to being old stock.

I will be back again to collect and buy gifts.
