Shawn was so helpful and very knowledgeable - she knew exactly what to recommend and had great advice regarding apparel for running. Will definitely be returning.

I was in the store about a month ago and had the most wonderful lady help me; I believe her name was Michelle, possibly Melissa. She was so friendly and knowledgable and listened to all of the features I was looking for in a shoe. I am in my 80's and have a hard time bending but she insisted on helping me put on, take off and even tie up the shoes for me. I'm sure I tried on every shoe in the store, mens and womens, and she never once seemed to get annoyed or upset if I asked for another shoe or to retry a shoe I had previously said no to. I was there for over 2 hours, at one point she was so kind and even offered to get me some water. I was unaware that the store closed at 5pm and she stayed and let me finish up until almost 5:30. I felt horrible when I realized I made her stay late but she said it was no problen and refused to let me help her put all the shoes away. She was such a kind and helpful young lady and I will most definitely be shopping at the Running Room again after that wonderful service.

I ended up here yesterday afternoon as I was shoe shopping for new work shoes. Before coming here, I went to Sport chek as they’re closer to home for me. Sport chek definitely had a huge selection to choose from, but of the seven pairs I wanted to try on, they had ZERO in my size. It was quite frustrating.
At The Running Room, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the lady working was very friendly, personable and helpful. She asked for my budget and only recommended shoes within it. She made me feel really comfortable while shopping which is really important to me. I tried on five pairs and found the perfect one. The whole experience was great! It’s definitely a smaller location, and so there wasn’t much to choose from, but I will definitely be going back when I need my next pair!

Unfortunately, not a great experience. I went in once to pick up some orthotics and once to get running shoes. Both times the sales person (same clerk) was disinterested in me and almost seemed annoyed that I was bothering her. I love to shop within our community when I can but I’ll be heading elsewhere next time.

I was in the Sherwood park store 10 days ago and bought two pairs of shoes and ordered 3 more as they did not have the colors or size I wanted . The shoes were available in St. Albert and Edmonton so I had to pre pay and ordered them . No shoes !!! Now 10 days ! Told today they can not refund or cancel my order until the shoes come there . I could drive to the other locations but no I have to just wait ??? Very very poor customer care!! Do not order in any shoes here !!

Poor service always from the young brunette whenever I come. Doesn’t acknowledge your presence and always seems annoyed she has to deal with customers. I would rather drive to a farher store to get better service.

Going to my first Running Room years ago was a great experience. Knowledgeable staff who helped me find the shoes I needed for walking and running. This experience, however, was absolutely terrible. My husband and I went in, right by the sales associate, who didn't smile or say hello or even acknowledge the fact that we were there. She looked less than enthused to be there. We then waited by the shoes expecting her to help, but we had to walk the 3 feet over to her to get her to help because it's like we weren't even there. My husband has foot issues and thought they would examine his gait and get him the best shoes for his feet, but she didn't at all. She never asked what we were looking for; it's like she assumed we knew what every shoe was for and what the differences in them were. My husband was ready to walk out but we got a few pairs of shoes and then said to each other that we would never go to that location again. Terrible experience.

Forgot my shorts to go swimming at Millenium with my 2yr old. Decided to just buy a pair here, cheapest pair I could find we're 56$. Then their debit machine wouldn't work, and they couldn't give me 14$ change so I spent 70$ cash on 56$ shorts. SMH.
