Fantastic experience, fresh produce from the farm, and cheaper than Walmart! Most particularly, the store manager, is absolutely an incredibly kind, caring human who once helped me to get my shopping bags to my car when he saw me struggling with them while looking after my little son. Unbelievably, he even put them in my car, and at the end said "We Care about Our Customers!" Since that day and the beautiful memory he left in my mind, I stopped shopping groceries from any other stores and only buy them from Galati where I am valued, respected, looked after as a customer and I don't buy stale, packaged products from else where. I buy them fresh from the farm and support the local market too while paying less.

Adam and his colleauge from the butcher shop were amazing! :) Friendly and the best customer service!! Helped us with the trippa. Will be back soon!

Happy to find this high quality supermarket. The bakery and cake look really good. There were lot of different cheese, ham, pizza, bread that you couldn't find in other supermarket. I bought the Israel bread and it was so yummy. The shortbread cookies were a bit disappointing. The vegetables were fresh too.

First time shopping here and I would like to leave a review. I met Adam in the meat department. Professional, attentive and good listening. This gentleman is an good asset to the establishment. Thanks for making my shopping experience a good one.

Probably the best supermarket I've ever been to in Ontario. I went there on the advice from the Chapman's ice cream guys. Their website shows Banana as well as Chocolate water ice (popsicles for most of us). I emailed Chapman's asking where in North York i could find these two since Loblaws, Metro and Longo's never carry them. Chapman's sent me a reply next day and listed several places that had recently ordered these from them.

Gelati's was the one that carried both! 20 min drive to Leslie between Finch and Steeles. What an insanely cool place!!! They had both flavours although getting low and many more choices in pasta brands... had their own meat sauce in a jar... lots of great deli and bakery stuff. Clean, people were really on the ball and friendly. Love this place and will start frequenting!

I stopped in there on December 24th at 14:41, and the prices are a bit high, but the quality of the meat is excellent. Also the cashier 714 on lane 006 was very polite, and friendly. He certainly enlightened the customers with his smile and outgoing personality. I hope he'll be recognized for his outstanding service.

Galati has top quality items, many of which are difficult to find elsewhere.

Clean and easy to navigate. Friendly staff and many services, including premade food, sushi, deli and butcher. Decent selection of beer and cider. Opened all year long.

I used to frequent this store when we lived closer. Still great selection of specialty items, loveky produce, big deli counter, and bakery aisle. Nice and clean, pretty busy but the cashier move things through.

Been going here since I was born. Everything is always fresh and you can find rare items that you can’t find at regular grocery stores

A very clean, organized and high quality supermarket with helpful and friendly staffs in my neighbourhood, great selection of backed pastries, love their fruity cheesecakes,
the butchery section is perfect, the meats are always fresh and serving in small size containers which make it possible for me to walk in and buy fresh meats daily.
Recently I tried their tomato basil paste, it tastes natural and perfect
*The only thing i don't like with this store is the signs which says " smile, your on camera" I believe it's kinda rude, it's normal that you are controlling store like everywhere but isn't normal to keep telling it to all your customers😐

I had a great experience at Galati Market Fresh, (especially the deli department). I asked one of Deli Department's staff to help me decide which meat and cheese to get. She was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I loved her suggestions.I want to say a big thank to Flora.

I'm only rating it a 5 star rating based on how I was treated by Filip and Luca they were the friendliest employees at this location in the 18 years I've been shopping here. I went in to purchase mini cheesecakes for my daughter's birthday and these boys were honest they told me that the ones displayed are expired and went to the back to get me fresh ones and they decorated it to my liking. The manager Gerry was very friendly when I told him how kind the 2 employees were. I just want to say a big thank you to all 3 of them for making it a grocery trip to remember.

This place is awesome! Bright and cheery italian type grocery store. Bought some pastries and they were delicious. Originally wanted to pickup some cut flowers for a 🎁. Ended up with a beautiful orchid plant that i know will be much more appreciated. Wish I had more time to explore the store. Sigh. Maybe next time

Update: Galati recently underwent renovations and now the store is even better! Their selection continues to be outstanding, their produce is fresh,have a great cheese selection and the store is always clean.

Great supermarket. Often they carry things from Europe that you wouldn't find anywhere else. It's convenient and the selection is good.
