On The Run - Convenience Store

“I’ve been a regular customer at On The Run gas station for quite some time, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. I arrived around 10:20 in the evening today and asked for a pack of smokes I usually purchase. The person behind the counter, of Indian descent-(I am not entirely sure of his name but he was working today i.e- Nov 3 Friday 10:20 pm)responded rudely in his native language, saying, ‘Nahi hai,’ meaning ‘I don’t have it.’ What bothered me the most was the lack of professionalism and respect in his tone.

To make matters worse, the attendant was engrossed in some inventory calculations, which seemed like a poor excuse for such discourteous behavior. I hadn’t been rude, and I was more than willing to provide my ID, so I couldn’t fathom why I was treated so poorly.

Customer service should be the backbone of any business, and it’s disheartening to experience the opposite. I hope that the management of On The Run takes note of incidents like this and ensures that such behavior is addressed and rectified in the future. As a loyal customer, I expected better and hope to see improvements in the service provided.

I kindly request that this issue be escalated and that I be kept informed about the steps taken to prevent others from having a similar experience, especially when they are rushing to the store before it closes for their necessities.”
