Great theatre! Friendly staff. Lots of things to see and do here. Not as packed as other theatres I’ve been to. Highly recommend! 5 stars

Me and my friend for years have been going to windermere VIP and the $25 a ticket has been off putting. We decided to go see Dungeons and Dragons at the south common theater as we had dinner on the south side at Varsity.
The tickets were only $15? Each and the theater was nicer than the VIP.
There were less seats, tons of leg room (I'm six foot 3) and i was able to enjoy their nice black leather power recliners, these seats are much better than the VIPs.
Staff were nice and the place is clean and pleasant.
This is my go to theater from now on.

I really wanted to see Wonka so I got 5:00 pm tickets in recliner seats. As I got in my seat it was comply but did not fully recline as much as my friends. Still had a great experience and was entertained. The staff seemed to be busy with duties and not intrusive.
And the popcorn was for some reason very good.

Went to see the new Taylor Swift concert movie with my lovely wife. We went to an early afternoon show on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy, which was good for getting snacks for the show. The popcorn was so tasty, we didn't add extra butter and still it was so good. Getting in with a pre-purchased tickets was quick and easy. We picked the theater with the reclining seats, this is the way to watch a movie, especially if it is a long movie like this one. The theatre was clean and the sound was amazing. I'm not a huge Taylor Swift fan, but this movie was excellent. Her stage show was outstanding and I enjoyed all the songs even hearing most of them for the first time. We got our moneys' worth, and even had the live concert feel with about 12 teenage girls behind us dancing and singing along with many of the songs. I would recommend this movie and this theatre to anyone.

Cineplex met my expectations and provided a great movie experience. The comfortable reclining seats, coupled with the spaciousness of the theater, allowed me to relax and enjoy the movie to the fullest. Despite having someone in the adjacent seat, I felt at ease and comfortable throughout the entire screening. I highly recommend Cineplex to all movie enthusiasts who seek both comfort and quality.

Great experience. Good seats and great speaker system. I totally loved their cheap prices on Tuesdays. Their popcorn is a rop notch.

Came here to see a movie 🎥, imagine that! Sing 2 was our choice. We enjoyed the movie and the theatre was comfortable. There is lots room, the seats 💺 are comfortable. Lots of movie screens at this location and lots of parking. My wife and I had a great time.

I saw two incredible movies today Maestro then followed it with Godzilla Minus One. But the reason I'm writing a review is because of a friendly,quick and professional assistance from a gentleman named Jordan when i wanting to change my seat for a less crowded row. I visit this theater on a weekly basis and I really appreciate good customer service. Thanks Jordan 👍👍

Nice theater. We literally go for the comfy full size reciners. Once you try those, there's no going back. Regular seats won't do it anymore.

Saw "Salaar" at Cineplex, and you bet I'd watch it twice! The cinema experience was so good; it's like they sprinkled extra magic on the popcorn. The sound was epic, the screen was larger than life, and the only thing better than the movie was the feeling of pure cinematic bliss. Salaar, you've got me hitting rewind on the movie and the Cineplex experience!

At first, this cinema complex is almost same style and standard as the one at the north end of the city. On a second look, this cinema outlet seems not to be as crowded as that of the North, although I visited on a Standard early afternoon.

The popcorn and drink accessories are fairly not expensive and the experience was memorable for my son...

My husband and I really enjoy this location for all our date nights. Typical Ciniplex nothing special that you cannot get at another location I just prefer this one over others around Edmonton.

The theatre is nice with comfortable seating and we always enjoy my movie time.

Went to see Godzilla Minus One. Was a good movie, popcorn was tasty, and the cast members were chill.

Nice clean movie theater, comfy the price of popcorn and pop is rediculous though, and really, charging for butter, is a biit much!!

What a wonderful visit! Me and the wife watched Sonic 2 here and it was a great experience! The recliner seats are a huge bonus except you get stiff after a hour or more

I love these full recliner chairs at South Common Cineplex, way better comfort. Thank you
