THIS has got to be the most INTERESTING & amusing store in St. Paul, Alberta.
You will Not find any other store like this around. This store has lots of collectibles! Take your time looking through the store you can also find good sales too.

Doug & Carolyn and their staff always are willing to help you in every way possible. This store is truly one of hidden gems in the Lakeland and transports you back to your childhood. The selection they carry is beyond your wildest dreams and from young to old there is something here for everyone.

I saw this shop st the side of the road and I'm glad I stopped in! The selection is staggering, the service amazing and prices are as good as online or better! The board game selection is HUGE and alphabetized - it's bigger than some of my old favorite stores, and so easy to find what you're looking for. The staff were able to answer every question I had pretty well instantly and were great to deal with. I wish I lived closer - I would buy everything for my hobbies here. This is nerd/geek heaven.

Long story short, if you're passing through the area, take the detour and visit this place. It's AWESOME.

Truly surprising and impressive selection of collectibles, games and hobbies. Models, Lego, figurines, DVDs, video games, board games and more. If you’re in the area, stop by. The prices seemed quite reasonable too.

I want to share how amazing the store and people are at Sunshine Game and Hobby! Supporting everyone's hobbies and having an amazing selection to choose from is hard to come by!

This is probably one of the best places in the world!! The owners are a couple of the best people you could ever hope to meet, and I'm so happy I had the privilege too. At Sunshine you'll find whatever you're looking for and things you didn't even know you wanted. If they do not have exactly what your after they'll try to find it for you. If you're ever traveling and within a couple hours of this place you should stop in, you've probably never seen anything like it. Love you guys!

number 1 magic store i go to, super fair prices, great selection, and excellent staff!

Was here awhile ago, dude who owns the place gave me a history lesson on how they went from a video rental to a hobby store. Probably the best hobby store in a couple hundred miles, actually open throughout the day unlike a lot of small town hobby places.
Had Dungeons and Dragons stuff, Magic the Gathering, Warhammer, paints, etc. But honestly if you could think of it, you'd probably find it here, from portrait paintings to kid toys, as well as a rather diverse selection for video games and peripherals.
Also, you can still rent movies. Smartest business decision I've heard of in a long time. 10/10.

This place is amazing, you definitely need a few hours to see everything lol. They have such a selection and variety. There is something for everyone here. Best place In Alberta so far that we found . The gentleman working were very polite and kind . Definitely worth checking out .

Was my 1st visit, heard about the store from a friend and I was looking for a Lego Technic kit. When I walked into the store I couldn't believe the variety of everything in the store. If you're looking for anything from Magic cards to Lego, they've got a very impressive selection to choose from. I only had a short time to browse, but I could have spent a hour in there easy. I live a couple of hours away, but I will be back! Very friendly staff too 🙂

Noobs and nerds alike will find any and all things entertainment and games at this wonderful establishment that has been a big part of my life for 30 years, and then some! Knowledgeable and friendly staff, insane selection of everything from board games to video games to card games to movies and everything in between. The only downside to this place is how much time you will spend and not realize it.

So many games! So much cool stuff! Skip amazon and come here! Quite possibly one of the best/most unique retail experiences in all of St.Paul!

I make sure I stop in here everytime I find myself in St. Paul. The selection rivals that of the best stores in Edmonton, the people there are always courteous, engaging & friendly, and I always find an excuse to leave some of my money behind. If you're looking for something and by some weird abnormality of nature they DON'T have it, just ask. Either you didn't see it amongst the HUGE selection of all things nerd, nostalgic & hobby, or they'll get it in for you. Honestly one of my favorite places to visit, period.

A nerds dream store. Something for everyone. Really nice worker-lady confused Darth Vader for Batman, which gave me a chuckle, but over all, I can't help but spend money every time I'm in. 😍

I love going here. I can buy movies for my hubby and me. I have known the owners for a long time. They are very friendly people. I enjoy going there they have a variety of different products. Not only movies but lots of different stuff. The owners are Doug and Caroline. Everyone should stop in and say hi. I bet you they have something you are collecting. Just stop in and see.

Incredible selection of board/card games that puts larger shops in Edmonton to shame. Very competitively priced, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great hours. You won't find a better hobby shop in the area!

So many different board games, models and more. If they don't have it, they'll order it in for you. The items I requested were cheaper than ordering online elsewhere.

Love Sunshine Game & Hobby, been going to it since we were kids renting VHS tapes, DVDs, and video games. They just need to order in Star Wars model kits.
