The Gumboot Cafė

This is a cute little vegetarian cafe where you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. We got coffee and brunch; breakfast burrito, Buddha Benny, and the yogurt & granola.

I was surprised that they didn’t have bags of their granola for sale since they offer t-shirts and totes bags in every colour of the rainbow with their branding on it.

We stopped by this cozy lovely cafe on our way to the pier. The staff were so friendly. The service was very fast. Sitting outside on a sunny day was what we picked. Inside was so cozy and beautiful, too.
My first thought on their pizza was that the portions are very generous. The mashed potato pizza was good. I personally like a bit more spices on my pizza;but, still delicious.
The Dahl soup was amazing. The pastries were so delicious, too.

This is our third year. Staying in an airbnb in Robert's Creek, I absolutely love coming to the gumboot cafe every morning. The staff is so wonderful. And the food is great.
And who doesn't love fresh baked bread?

+ Buddha Benny was delicious. Vegetables taste like it is locally grown.
+ Interesting decor - lots of information related to the wildlife and wild plants at sunshine coast. Nice place to go if you're a tourist. Cute place.
+ Chai latte, best one we ever had. Served with a cinnamon stick which made it so tasty.

- portions are a bit small for the price. Freshness of food made it up though.

So incredibly cute and well run!! Amazing food, amazing coffee, great service and such a great atmosphere as well! I'd recommend this place to anyone. The pier in Roberts creek is also a short walk away. A very chill, locals feel in here, love everything about it

Awesome place to get breakfast, lunch or a snack. The food is really good and there are lots of good options. The breakfast burritos are amazing, you need to try one. The coffee is great. Lots of seating options. The place is just all around good.

The Gumboot Cafe has the best food. So healthy and so tasty. I have been coming here for years and it has never been a disappointment!

A Roberts Creek treasure! Veggie-forward cafe with lots of heart where everyone feels like a friend. Delicious vegan options, all homemade and fresh. Pizzas, salads, wraps, soups, breads, cookies and bars... Perfect to eat on the nearby beach, out on the patio, or inside by the gas fireplace and local artwork. Just the one bathroom. Expect a line up occasionally because it's everyone's fave cafe (and the only one in town...) Thanks!

Surprised to find such good coffee here basically in the middle of (almost) nowhere (to a traveler like me). Was only expecting an overly dark poorly extracted coffee with scorched milk. Turned out the coffee was just right. Perfect balance and ratio between the express and the milk, extracted perfectly and milk frothed perfectly (although it's dry foam). The baked goods are also excellent! Gibsons are full of surprises!

This place has the "Creek vibe". Locals love it and welcome tourists. Might have to wait for a table but it's worth it. I love the atmosphere here. The food looked incredible and the coffees were perfect. Local owner. Some very neat stores close by and the beach is a block down the road. A must for anyone!

Beautiful. We are visiting from Winnipeg, Manitoba and the both of us love this place and the collection of shops. Gluten free food options, a lot of homemade tasty treats. You can relax indoors with wine or beer, and outdoors in front or out back on the patio. Staff are very kind and welcoming. The shops carry many products and gifts by local vendors and there are woodworking classes and a healthy food shop. Beautiful prints are available by local artists including Sarah Mariko.

Gumboat Cafe is better than the restaurant next door (even if it is the same owners). The hot beverages are made quickly, the limited menu ensures quality, and the staff and cooks are very friendly. They have brews and coffees available as week- add an array of sweets.
Nice place to sit before exploring the nearby shops (like the gem shop upstairs!).

A must eatery! Charming historical building and village setting. Great food! Great deserts and friendly staff!

They have the best vegan tomato soup in the whole world. The kale salad is rockin’ and the beet cakes are scrumptious. Im obsessed with this place. They have great gluten-free/vegan options INCLUDING desserts. The gf chocolate cake is out of this world.

The Gumboot cafe and staff are a wonderful fixture on the Sunshine Coast. I may be biased as they are so supportive to displaying local artists work and today one of the sweet baristas (Stella) made me an amazing tasting homemade hot chocolate without sugar or alternative sweeteners. It was such a treat for my no sugar eating plan. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is made with love.

This place is a legendary spot in Roberts Creek. Grab some fresh bread to go or sit down and chill in the café. Locals and tourists hang here all year round. The outdoor seating is great (2 patios) and there is a nice fire place indoors for the winter months. The food is fairly average but the whole vibe is the real deal. Laid back and super friendly.

This is a must stop cafe for breakfast or lunch. Lots of gluten and vegan options. Fresh baked bread for sale and other baked goods. There is always Soup and pizza too!
