The Harbourside Inn and Cafe

Me and my boyfriend stayed here when we came to watch the 2024 solar eclipse in Bonavista. Upon arrival we were given a tour and shown to our room, which was absolutely beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, and at our request the owner brought us some drinks from the Port Rexton brewery. In the morning we woke up to a breakfast buffet that was absolutely delicious and had a pleasant conversation with the owner. Lovely place with absolutely amazing rooms and service, would definitely recommend!

Spent two nights here and enjoyed our stay immensely. A very lovely inn and what made our stay so special was how well we were treated. The rooms are lovely, the view and location are very special and the dining was perfect.
The hosts treated us like family and were extremely helpful as we planned our days. A month after our visit, our fondness for Olivia remains as strong as the day of our departure.

If your East cost adventures ever take you to Port Union, NL you have to stay at Harbourside Inn and Cafe, experience amazing hospitality and try their delicious breakfast! The place is charming and full of history! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The owners are committed to excellence and make you feel special. We had wonderful stay there and are looking forward to visit again. Thank you Tanya and Brad for making our stay very relaxing and comfortable.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay, Brad and Tanya were out of this world hostesses, so very welcoming and friendly it was as if we were old friends. The beds were very comfortable and our room was clean and cozy. The breakfast was to die for, nothing like a home cooked breakfast before you set off on your daily adventures. Would most definitely recommend this as a must stay.

From the first moment we arrived, Brad made us feel welcome and at home. The room was perfect and clean, and most importantly, the bed was super comfortable. The different breakfast options were delightful and the coffee was excellent. Highly recommend staying here if you visit the area in Newfoundland. We will be back!

Brad and Tanya were excellent hosts! The rooms were comfortable, the amenities were great, and the location is excellent for exploring the Bonavista peninsula. There's a great hike to Murphy's Cove basically right out the front door. I would stay there again!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Harbourside Inn. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Room is very clean. The owners are super nice and helpful. Great breakfast and coffee. I rarely write reviews but I really want to leave a review for this place because it's so amazing. I would recommend it to all my friends and family who are travelling to Bonavista.

This was my first time staying at a B&B and it was fantastic! We spent 2 nights here and felt right at home! Brad was such a wonderful host and provided us with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Location is great - we were able to go to Elliston and Bonavista easily. Port union itself has so much history too! Very happy with the 2 days spent here.

They say you can’t go home again, but that’s not true. I grew up in Port Union and left decades ago, but every time I come to Harbourside Inn, Brad and Tanya make me feel like this is still my home. From the beautifully restored and appointed rooms to the stellar, delicious food, and the stunning view and friendliness of the owners, staying at the Harbourside Inn is an absolute must for visitors. Do yourself a favour: come home!

Stay at Brad and Tanya’s Harbourside Inn if you want that incredible Newfoundland hospitality in a historic century residence that has been lovingly updated. The large bedrooms are tastefully decorated and include modern ensuite bathrooms. The Queen bed we had in the Captain’s Room was “Oh! so comfortable”. This Inn is spotless and Brad has created a guest experience that is to be envied - no other BnB we have had to date compares. We particularly loved how central the historic town of Port Union is - not far from everything you want to experience in the Trinity Bay from the town of Trinity to Elliston, to Spillars Cove, to Bonavista - just a short drive. When it comes to Brad’s breakfast - I doubt anyone has anything as good as what you will get at the Harbourside Inn. Brad and Tanya go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and our room was very clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions.

The inn is well located between Bonavista and Trinity. We would 100% recommend this place.

This B&B is AMAZING!! From the Old House character and charm, to the modern and luxurious decor, to the chef prepared food(we had supper and breakfast the next morning and took the buns and toutons on the road), the coffee bar, the umbrellas hung in the front hall...you will not leave this place unsatisfied. The owners Brad and Tania are warm and welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. We were travelling from the west coast and spontaniously found the B&B and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. We will be returning! Karen & Mark

I would rate a 10 if i could. Just opened March, 2022 and it runs like ‘clockwork’. We travel the world, and this is the best ever. Beds/pillows/room/private bath were top notch, but add the best ever breakfast, and the availability of dinner/wine/beer and the owners Brad and Tanya and their Olivia - if we get back to NL this is the only place we will stay.

Had dinner with my family today and I have to say the Harbourside Burger has got to be one of the best burgers I've ever had. Compliments to Brad and Tanya for a fantastic feed and wonderful experience for my visiting son and girlfriend.

We just spent 2 nights at the Port Union Bed and Breakfast and we loved it! The owner is welcoming and helpful, the historic house is pretty and the rooms are big and super comfy. We felt at home :) It is well located, just between Bonavista and Trinity so it’s easy to visit both. I would definitely recommend.

Everything about this place is amazing! The rooms are beautiful and clean. Food is delicious and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The Harbourside Inn has a beautiful ocean view with the newfoundland culture. It is close to all the must see attractions. I Can't wait to go back. 5 stars 🌟 all the way.

Wonderful hosts, comfortable bed, gorgeous view and delicious breakfast. Great location for easy access to hiking and the towns of Bonavista, Port Rexton and Trinity. We saw an iceberg and puffins!

Service is above and beyond, incredibly friendly host. Clean room and delicious breakfast. Well situated between Trinity and Bona Vista

A Gem! Great hosts, excellent breakfast and beautiful nice size rooms and bathroom. Great location to explore the Discovery trail; close to all the towns.
