Lil Hil's Coffee Shop

Had take-out breakfast one day and dine-in breakfast the second day while camping at Wheatley Provincial Park. Lil Hil's is less than a 5 minute drive from park main gate. Lil Hil's is at the Talbot Trail golf course/club. Food was good, hot and tasty. Portion sizes were good and prices quite reasonable. There is not much ambiance here, it's one big open room with vaulted ceilings with a mix of 6-person round tables, 6- to 12-person rectangle tables and a few bar height tables for 2- to 4-people. I give the restaurant 5 stars, but I'd give the service 4 stars because it could be better - a bit more attentive, and a bit more enthusiastic. Overall, it's a good place and I recommend it.

We stopped here for a coffee.and a bite today. Quality was very good, service was great. They actually came around to our table to ask if we needed a refill!! A+

Today was the first time that I went there and I love it. The food is amazing, the portions are huge and the service is awesome. I definitely recommend it.

I went to drink coffe but end up having chicken too,😍 .Also got an amazing view of the golf. Spent more than an hour. Ohh yes, the staff at this restaurant was so friendly, especially "Cantis". She was humble with her service and a smile on her face when I asked for extra help. Do make a visit if you want to enjoy your precious time with incredible and calm view. What a fun little home down spot. Prices were good, food was better. We so enjoyed stopping at this rustic diner in the heart of Wheatley.

Cute local diner with counter and table seating. Great breakfast (perfect bacon) and a full menu. Service was a little slow because of the holiday but we didn't mind walking to the counter for a refill because the staff was very friendly. Our "busboy," Todd, was adorable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is an absolute must just east of the village of Wheatley in the Talbot Trail Golf Club. This restaurant is no longer downtown Wheatley following the tragic explosion in 2021. It has relocated in the golf club. Very little signage on the road: so be persistent. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food. An exceptional place in many ways.

I love it ,staff and super friendly and happy ,place is beautiful,this was my first visit so hopefully it stays that way,keep up the good work and cheerful faces staff 👍

Absolute best breakfast I've had in 27 years, eggs were perfect over easy so I can dip my toast (not overcooked but not slimy), bacon was excactly how I wanted it (slightly crispy), home fries are amazing fried slightly then grilled with onions, and the toast omg..never thought I would talk about toast in a review, they must have that toaster set down to the decimal point because it's always perfect. 10 stars if I could choose that. Make sure you give this place a good tip so they know they are doing the right stuff. This will be my new everyday breakfast place, my daughter absolutely loves it as well and she is super picky being an autistic child.

We always liked going to Lil's for breakfast or lunch, prior to 3 years ago. We haven't been yet in Wheatley provincial park since Doug Ford declared 'Covid'. I wasn't going to play that game. But our camping there is soon now. So... since 'Lils' has moved, is it the same owner and food prep? Because frankly, because of her passion and attitude, it made going there worthwhile.
