Living Sky Café

Have heard great things about Living Sky Cafe so had to check it out! I had looked at the menu prior and everything looked so delicious that the trouble was deciding what to order! My friend and I ordered the breakfast poutine and chicken/egg waffles! The breakfast poutine tasted so fresh, the potatoes tasted as if they were just picked from the garden! The beer cheese sauce that is served with it was so tasty too! The real winner was the waffles! The egg is fried in chili oil and overall this had a good kick to it! They provide you with a bottle of maple syrup to put on yourself. The maple syrup compliments the heat from the eggs/chicken/waffles just perfectly! I would absolutely order that again! To finish things off, had a cheesecake with fresh fruit and caramel sauce, small but packed massive flavour! Very nice ambience, friendly and efficient service, never had to wait on coffee refills! Absolutely would reccomend and will be returning! So much more to explore on this menu!

First time here. Nice place to eat in. My meal was really good. I ordered the "OG Chicken". I had a taste of the waffle , it was good too. I didn't get to try the chicken condon blue. It must be very good that I didn't get to try some. Ha Ha, if I have lunch there again , I will definitely order the chicken condon blue to taste.

Very nice atmosphere. Clean. Nice bathrooms. Service was good and friendly. The food was excellent. I had the Philly beef sandwich with the smoked Caesar salad; I’m from Pennsylvania, and it’s rare to find a proper steak and cheese in Canada. This is the best Canadian Philly I’ve encountered. Salad was very good. I tried my partner’s chicken and waffles, which was also very good. Blueberry iced tea was refreshing. I will definitely visit again.

First time at Living Sky Cafe, another Saskatoon Gem! I had a latte and fresh cinnamon bun. Both were unique and delicious. Cute little 2 person booth seating gave some privacy. Will be back!

Had an amazing time at The Living Sky Cafe! The vibe was cozy and familiar, like visiting your grandparent's house. The food was fresh and delicious (I ordered a breakfast poutine with cappuccino and my boyfriend ordered a Crispy Chicken & waffles with london fog).

Perfect spot for a quiet hangout or just enjoying brunch and coffee while reading a book!😉

The most cozy, comforting restaurant that serves wholesome food that is always top notch. It’s impossible to just order one thing. Their salads and soups are amazing, and everything on the menu you want to try. There’s a lot to choose from and the quality is always so fresh. I highly recommend ordering a few things and sharing. Portion sizes are great. I also love the collective atmosphere of the place. The little market on the side is a great concept to bring home some of their products.

A funcky breakfast/lunch place in downtown Saskatoon. The food is yummy with good vegetarian or vegan options and make sure to ask for the vegan menu 😋

This place is our little slice of heaven! Immaculate food presented with class and flair, incredibly attentive and considerate staff. Our first brunch here was unforgettable, and our server Rory was simply a joy to converse and laugh with. We look forward to a return visit to this warm and inviting food haven!

It's been a while since I was last here - long enough that they expanded and took over the neighboring space. The expansion is well deserved, and the new additions are amazing!

I used to come weekly for a latte or iced drink and loved their homemade syrups. Especially the lavender! This time around, I had the honey cinnamon latte and enjoyed it so much!

The menu of food has also expanded quite a bit, and I chose the chicken & waffles. It was coconut breaded chicken, two waffles, an egg, maple syrup, and a hollandaise type of sauce. Awesome balance of sweet & salty. With a bit of spice.

Service was great, and everything happened at a reasonable and unhurried pace. The restaurant was packed, but the din was never overpowering. Pardon the photos - overhead lighting 😅

Was an absolutely amazing experience being back. And I'm so glad to see such a lovely place having great success and growth, while maintaining their small Cafe feel.

One of the best restaurant meals I've had in a long time! You could tell that everything was made from scratch and really good quality in general. I would recommend the chicken cordon bleu burger :)

Every dish was great.
Their blueberry iced tea was so naturally favoured with no artificial taste.
They mean it when they say ‘fresh fruit’.
The owner lady was very friendly and kind.
Plus I loved their decorations around the cafe. Very unique and impressive.

Happened to notice this gem on my walk this afternoon, it was a little cold out so I I felt like having a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry or dessert. I was greeted immediately with a smile and sat a table. The latte was excellent, the service was courteous, and attentive. The server recommended the Banana Cream Pie Croissant and it was delicious! I can't wait to try more food here and always nice to know you are supporting a family owned, local business.

We had Living Sky cater our backyard wedding. The food was delicious and the service professional and very flexible to the needs of our day. Thank you! We would recommend Living Sky catering whatever the occasion.

Overall 5 star experience! The restaurant also has an attached market where you can buy some of the ingredient and fresh baked goods home.

My wife came here for the first time with a couple friends. We ordered the Carnita Enchiladas and Early Riser Waffle dish with The Milky Boy and Smoked Cesar for drinks. The drinks were very tasty and the cesar was just enough spicy with the pickled jalapeño in the mix.

I was very surprised at how good the enchiladas are. They were still very crispy but covered in their house sauce with cilantro aioli, feta and Pico mix. The meat was cooked perfectly and awesome flavours within the meal. Definitely going back to try the rest of them.

The Waffle and sausage dish was great! The waffles came out fluffy with a bit of crisp on the outside. The star of the dish was the homemade sausage and perfectly basted egg with hollandaise dill sauce. Very tasty and recommend to anyone who like a savory waffle dish.

I was referred by my sister and would highly recommend checking this place out. They have a large menu that may seem a bit overwhelming at first but makes you want to come back to try more!

I LOVE Living Sky Cafe! My husband and I got married on Nov 14, 2020, and Living Sky Cafe was where we held our reception. Their venue and food was amazing for our little wedding reception of 21 people. Jenna and Taylor, the owners, are so amazing. Jenna helped my husband and I with so many details, and Taylor, the chef, gave us the best wedding food we could’ve imagined. I’m so happy we chose to have our wedding hosted by them. Everyone was raving about how cute the venue was and how delicious the food was. Also the service was absolutely awesome. I have also been there for their normal service hours and the food and service have always been the best. I’m posting a couple photos from our reception, so this is from their special event menu not their regular menu. But it gives an idea of the quality.

Really delicious brunch. Had to wait about 40mins on a stat holiday, but they have a text messaging queue system that helped.

This cafe is one of the best in the city. Local ingredients, unique and delicious menu items, and a great atmosphere. I took my daughter here for lunch and she loved everything. We shared the chicken and waffles and the Denver croissant sandwich. The chicken was coconut breaded and the whole dish was perfectly balanced. The Denver croissant sandwich was delicious, with a great ratio of meat:egg:croissant. It also came with some fruits and berries.

If you don't want to stay for a full meal, they also have a little market takeaway for pantry items and foods you can cook at home. Plus, a little cafe section to get your coffees to go!

Definitely recommend and definitely a place to keep going back!

We really enjoyed our visit here. Our waiter was very attentive and nice.The honey cinnamon latte is delicious and the special was very good. The management/owners are very receptive to feedback and really care about their customers' experience. Will be visiting again!

Very friendly staff and the brunch didn’t disappoint! Nice when you can go out on a limb and order something you don’t normally order w confidence it will be so good. They delivered. Gourmet. I’ll come back next time I visit for sure!

Never been to this cafe, so we decided to give it a try. Love the atmosphere in this place, very laid back and chill. The drinks were great, the zucchini chocolate cake was so divine I could eat the whole cake! Paired with the honey latte I got, it was one of the great food experience I had in a cafe. Price was reasonable, it compares well with other cafes in town.

Place was clean, washrooms kept tidy, servers were friendly and attentive - overall definitely a place to go in my books. Downside is the parking, if there's no parking up front, it's likely you'll be parking a block away if lucky.
