Guang Dong Palace Family Restaurant

We were passing through on our drive to Calgary and found this great family-run Chinese takeout. We are Cantonese ourselves and absolutely loved their pineapple sweet and sour pork (western style gu lo yuk) and their cha siu fried rice. It was exactly what we were craving after a few days on the road going through ND, MN, and WI. What a gem in SK.

Really good Chinese food. Has a good selection of what most people would enjoy. Food is ready very quickly.

Stopped here when they were about to close. Food was great, service was great and friendly. When I come back work in the area I’ll be sure to stop again. If you like the medicine hat buffet you’re definitely going to love this.

I drove all the way from Vancouver, which is well known for best Chinese food city in North America, to try their fried rice, ginger beef and s&s pork. I have to give them a thumbs up. They know what they are doing. Well done.

This place doesn't mess around. The quality of Chinese food here is comparable to Toronto/Markham and Vancouver. I passed through on a cross-country drive and am still amazed.
