My boyfriend and I popped in shop on Valentine's Day and had a wonderful experience. I believe it was the owner working, she was very pleasant and helpful. I am already planning a trip back to check out some other items I saw during my visit.

I had the pleasure of working with and learning from Kathy and her wonderful clientele. It was the amazing women and sharing the customer experience of fitting women (primarily) with lingerie following Kathy’s approach. So check out this little gem in the heart of downtown Almonte - any age, any size - Kathy embraces all!

Bought a miraculous Natori sports bra with the very kind and expert help of the owner. It feels like wearing nothing and is super effective. Won’t go back to the cheap sports store ones ever again!

Just had the best customer service experience and after sale support from this store.

Shopkeeper/owner is comically rude. So rotten that I thought maybe we were being pranked? But no.
Edit:. Yes, that was me.
And my toddler was not "running loose". You and I both know she was walking within arm's reach and lightly TOUCHED a bra.
My bad. However, there's a way to KINDLY communicate with someone and you lack that skill. Judging by the multitude of other negative reviews involving yourself and mothers with their children, it might be time for you to put up a "no kids allowed" sign. Have a nice day

I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed anything on Google before. If I could give it a zero I would. I didn’t even get a chance to shop in the store bc I was being yelled at my the employee (maybe owner) for standing in front of the shop door. I was waiting for a friend to come out of the bathroom so she could watch my baby and daughter so I could check out the store. During my time waiting, my 4 year old daughter and I were having a conversation about her daddy’s/my husbands recent funeral and burial service. The lady abruptly came up to us telling us to move, and NOT in a polite way. We weren’t even IN the doorway or in the way of any people. No wonder why your store is empty! If you have an issue with your stores location, move somewhere else. Reading other reviews shows that you clearly have an issue with it. I was so put off and so was my out-of-town friend. I will never step foot in that store and if anyone even mentions it to me, I will let them know not to shop there. Definitely does not fit in with the small town charm that my husband and I have always loved about Almonte. Wish I could tell that lady again that life is too short - lighten up. Worse things can happen.

I rarely post negative reviews but as a business owner myself I understand how valuable treating customers with common decency is. I sincerely hope my interaction was not with the owner of this business. I was shopping in this mall (made several purchases in two stores, one being directly across from this one) there is a huge sign for the washrooms hanging on the ceiling. My 5 year old had to go and we waited patiently as someone was in the washroom. Whomever was working in this business stormed out of the bathroom, berated me in front of my daughter, claiming the washrooms were not for public use… for paying customers in the mall. (Which I was, but not only that my daughter is 5 and when a 5 year old has to go… they have to go) she was not only rude and unhinged about how she spoke to me in front of my daughter but continued to carry on when someone kindly stepped in to stand up for us using the washroom. I could never fathom treating anyone with such disrespect and utter disregard for human dignity. If this was the owner of this business shame on you.

Horrible customer service towards mothers.

I was in the shop today with my mother and 8 month old. The lady working in the store went out of her way to make me feel embarrassed. I was waiting for my mom to pick something out and bopping around in the mirror with my son when the lady came out and said "can I help you" but not in the way that meant she actually wanted to help. In the way that signaled "you don't belong, get out". So I walked over and sat my son down on the counter while my mom finished up, she came over and loudly said "I don't want him on my counter", and not in the way that you might think, perhaps "I'm just worried it isn't safe" (it was, I was holding him), more like "get out".

I was embarrassed. But also confused, the only other person in the store was a man waiting for his wife in the changeroom, and he was having fun making faces at the baby in the mirror too. Why be so cruel?

I hesitated to post a review, maybe she was just having a bad day after all. But then I scrolled the reviews here and saw that just yesterday she yelled and berated another mother and her five year old for using the public washroom (that isn't even in the store!!). So there is a pattern of behaviour of being quite nasty to mothers. Surprising given that probably a good proportion of their customer base are either mothers or grandmothers.

I'll be telling my wider "mom" group about this experience. Word of mouth goes pretty far in this small town.

The person working in the shop today (05/06/23) yelled at my friend and her 5 year old child for wanting to use the mall bathroom. I was shopping at the Witch Haus and missed the altercation. The unreasonably angry woman yelled at a 5 year old child. Do not recommend this shop. A patron that witnessed this apologized to my friend and couldn’t believe what had just happened.

Maybe it’s because she destroyed the bathroom and wanted to save them from her vile smell? We’ll never know.

Worst experience for returns! Brought some friends and we had fun at the store and we all purchased items. As We were leaving the store one of the workers found my size for an item I had been looking at. I asked if I could take it home and try because I didn’t want to go back into the dressing room. They said no problem you can return it so long as you keep the tag on. Three days later I returned with the tags on and receipt in hand. She said she didn’t do returns, only credit notes or exchange only (All my friends heard her say no problem for the return). Not once did she mention the exchange only or credit note!! She pointed to a sign on the back wall that gives those details and said we have this on the wall for everyone to see. I asked her what if I was legally blind and couldn’t see that sign. Her response was “PLEASE!” What the heck, that is not a response I would expect of a business owner. My husband is legally blind and would have never been able to see, let alone read that sign. A HUGE issue and ignorance towards accessibility!! I will have to back to use my credit but guaranteed that those friends I brought in will never give her business again and I would never recommend my other friends to shop there!

Nice selection if you can get your size in store. Don't try to order anything. I waited months for a second bra. I rearranged schedules to get there before closing after hearing it had finally come in. Much to my disappointment, there was no such size in stock once I got there.!!!
