Wetherly Inn

A slice of heaven on Earth. We decided to stay at Wetherly Inn for our honeymoon and we couldn't have been happier. The room was gorgeous and modern, with a magnificent soaking tub, balcony overlooking the ground and sumptuous four poster bed. The staff were welcoming and informative - Stephanie took care of all of our needs, booked us for excellent massages, and cooked some of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The grounds...what can I say about the grounds except that they have to be experienced to be believed. We spent hours sitting and enjoying the majestic gardens, strolling through the well manicured lawns, hearing the waterfalls cascading through the property, or soaking in the sun while lounging by the pool and hot tub. I could go on even longer, but there's no need. This place has joined our list of "must stay" vacation spots, and we will definitely be back. 10/5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 😁❤🩴🌞

One of the most beautiful properties on salt Spring Island to stay at. so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful gardens and the food is absolutely exquisite. just returned from a wonderful four day stay with my mother and we had the most wonderful time staying in one of the cottages. The pool we had all to ourselves each day and took lovely dips listening to the waterfall after each day of exploring the islands delights. Everything was impeccable. Very clean and exquisite we will certainly be back.

This was our second stay and it was just what we needed. The grounds are well groomed and maintained, so many peaceful places to enjoy the scenery. Coffee to the room is a real treat, and the complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. We purchased the hot breakfast the second day and it was really great too. Thanks to everyone (family owned and run) for making our experience so enjoyable.

Words are quite hard to find when trying to explain this place. I knew when I opened the electronic gate that something special was inside but once I got to walk into the garden I was taken back. The landscaping and gardening is simply breath taking. The pool and hot tub were super fun and appreciated. We were in the west room and it was spacious and nicely decorated especially with the huge bathtub in the bedroom. The coffee and treat delivered to bed in the morning was a very nice touch too. We had a magical 2 nights and will certainly be back again. Thanks so much for the amazing hospitality.

What a wonderful hidden gem! Exactly what we were looking for; secluded, luxurious, everything about this place was magical. Lots of great amenities and a spa on site. Breakfast was fantastic and coffee delivered to the room was the icing on the cake. Very friendly and accommodating. Owner operated, the level of care and special touches were apparent. Will stay here again.

We stayed at the Wetherly Inn for a 3 day weekend for my husband's and my birthday, for our first vacation since Covid-19, and as a sort of mini honeymoon since ours never happened due to Covid-19. It was easy to say we were putting a lot of expectation on the Whetherly Inn - and it succeeded in being everything we were looking for. Our stay was idyllic. When not out exploring the island, we were soaking in the hot tub, catching some sun by the pool, reading on the dock in the pond, and sitting and enjoying the beauty of the property. A day at the Inn starts with a wake up knock and a wonderful tray with your choice of morning beverage and a snack which we enjoyed on our private balcony. Afterwards, you head down to a delightful little breakfast buffet where there is a wonderful fresh assortment of breads, granola, fruit, and yogurt. We enjoyed our breakfast outside overlooking spectacular sun drenched gardens and meandering creeks. The peace and the character of the Wetherly, in addition to the friendly professionalism of the owners, makes for a truly unique experience. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, refreshing place to stay on Salt Spring Island, look no further.

I visited for the first time yesterday and it was a wonderful experience. The deep tissue massage was amaaaaazing, the spa room is gorgeous and the grounds are out of this world! Lovely pool, hot tub and beautiful flowers everywhere. Hope to be back again soon!

Can not recommend this place enough! Stephanie and her parents were the most accommodating hosts ever. We came for our honeymoon and were blown away.

The room (#1) was clean, gorgeous, and had a wonderful balcony looking over the grounds. Further, the grounds themselves were beautiful and mesmerizing. We spent a lot of time walking around and enjoying the flowers and various sitting areas. There's a clean swimming pool, hot tub, a few little ponds to admire, and flowers galore!

A morning coffee/tea can be delivered to your room, and then you can head down to the breakfast room where you can get more coffee/tea and enjoy the delicious freshly prepared foods as part of the continental breakfast. Sweet and savory options, homemade jams and jellies, breads, hard boiled eggs, and more. There is also an option (at an additional cost) to have a hearty option made for you such as bacon/eggs/potatoes which was also incredible. All this while enjoying the awe-inspiring views of the gardens.

Family run B&B (mother, father + daughter). The grounds and gardens are immaculate, maintained by mother. We were greeted upon arrival by father, quite a humorous fellow. Daughter took care of breakfast, delicious. The ambiance and decor are exquisite and very relaxing. Will definitely return again.

This place is unbelievable. What a fantastic place to relax and unwind. The family that runs this place is amazing. From the gardens to the pond, the little stream, the hiking trails, the swimming pool and the hot tub. This place is a true gem. I love the breakfast there as well.

We had a two night getaway celebrating our recent engagement! This place is a little slice of heaven!! Can’t recommend it enough. It’s so quiet and amazing breakfast and service!! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay a couple more nights!!!

An absolutely idyllic spot. My wife and I spent a wonderful 3 days at the Inn and would have loved to stay longer. The gardens are truly remarkable, like Butchart Gardens minus the crowds! We were awoken every morning by a knock on the door and a tray of delicious coffee and homemade cookies left at the door. We sat out on our private balcony savouring the gorgeous view and the peaceful babbling of the waterfalls. Breakfasts were a delicious selection of homemade breads and jams, fruit, granola etc, with full cooked breakfasts also available (we didn't feel the need with the sumptuous spread provided). The rooms were beautifully appointed and very comfortable; in fact the entire inn was lovely, with plenty of original artwork. As for the grounds, you could retire to read in the Adirondack chairs on the little dock on the koi-stocked pond, or enjoy the hot tub or mosaic-tiled swimming pool, all in their own private nooks in the beautiful gardens. The Inn is conveniently located just a short drive from Ganges (and, in fact, all of the island). Finally, any description of the Inn wouldn't be complete without mention of Stephanie, our wonderful host. We hope to make it back to the West Coast again soon, and we can't imagine being in this part of the world without staying at The Wetherly Inn again.
