Hummingbird Pub & Family Restaurant

The musical bus ride with Tommy was super, super fun, and informative about all things local. Definitely a unique Island experience with a great destination at the top. We had the pulled pork sandwich which was yummy. The pork had wonderful flavor and I ate it all…however my husband’s salt n’ pepper wings were REALLY, really delicious and I totally wanted more of those. They were eaten too quick before I could get a pic!

What a great experience! From the musical, or should I say, magic bus ride to the unique interior of The Hummingbird Pub you will be smiling and shaking your tambourine too. Our burgers were fine. No complaints but I think pizza is the way to go.

Fantastic little patio. Went to the hummingbird bar for dinner. Great ambiance with the island greenery. Our Fish and chips and burger with yam fries was good. Service was great and was quick. Prices were very reasonable considering your on an island with very limited resources. You can walk to the pub directly from the ferry terminal via Sturdies Bay trail from trail follows the road it's about a 3k trail walk.

Honestly it's 4 stars for the pub but the fantastic bus ride puts this place at a full 5 stars by itself! If you go to Montague do NOT miss the bus to the Hummingbird pub

The Galliano burger was amazing. Added two additional patties. Burger patties made in house and the french fries were nice and hot.

Probably one of the best places in Galiano to eat. Great food and tap selection, extremely friendly servers, nice atmosphere and two pool tables give a great touch to this pub. Make sure to visit whenever you’re in Galiano!

My wife and I really enjoyed our late lunch here. Food was very good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The drink selection good for such a small island. I would eat here again.

This place got the best ambiance !!.. and thw people also really friendly. Great food and great people.

Decent pub food. Service is good. Great backup when other restaurants are closed.

This is our favourite place to go out for a family meal on the island. Our server, Ruby, took so good care of us. She patiently answered all of my mother in law's questions about the menu and she saved the day when you were out of veggie burgers by suggesting I get a bun with the falafel... it was delicious! There was another family in there at the same time and they were having a blast! Need to get a new ball for the foosball game!

Oh no the foosball is no more. But Taylor was awesome and took care of our family two days in a row. A++ service!

Way better food than you'd expect. The roast beef on my sandwich was outstanding. Really fast, friendly service. I'm glad I came here again.

We enjoyed our meal here and our server went above and beyond.

I've heard of this place quite a few times. And if You know me, I'm staying away from the beaten pass ;-)
But this time around I was SOOOOO wrong )))) I wish we went there from the very beginning on Galiano Island. So next time I won't make the same mistake.
Good food served stat and I mean stat ))) Good choice of drinks. Comfortable and cozy environment. Some of the staff (like Tommy Transit the bus driver who's picking You up and dropping You off at either Montague Harbour or provincial park camp site) are legends.
So if You look for an honest customer service, look no further

The Hummingbird is a very comfortable feeling pub with friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. I enjoyed everything I ordered here and wish I could’ve tried more on the menu during my stay. I’ll be sure to come back next time I’m on Galiano for a great burger and game of pool :)

Went here with my 1 year old daughter. The food was standard pub food. Does not disappoint. The service was warm and extremely friendly

First time there. Server was super friendly and even gave a few extra ounces to everyone in our drinks that we ordered. Kinda sad that they didn't have halibut fish & chips but fresh cod is still right up there. Chips were nice and thick and coleslaw was good too. Love the cozy feeling and island vibe that you get from this bar.

This is a wonderful place. It's a true local pub. I deliver residential windows for work. Me and a coworker finished our deliveries and we had a couple of hours to kill before the next ferry. We spent about a hour in this pub. We bought lunch, we just drank water. The waitress didn't mind that we just drank water. The waitress told how life was like on the island. Saw men with scruffy and long breads and dirty dirty jeans. Saw building contractors wearing expensive jeans and trendy shirts. Everyone seem to fit in I had the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and a calm chowder soup for my side. It was delicious. The pub has wonderful character, its a beautiful long building. The waitress had a strong smell of marijuana, which added to the ombance to the pub and to the island.

Amazing food. Stopped here today to have a mid day lunch and the burger I ordered was great. The waitress was very nice and the overall environment of the restaurant was very calm and relaxed. Will definitely come back next time I’m on Galliano! :)

Had a great wee pub lunch here. Their patio is beautiful, with dancing butterflies. I had the fish and salad and really enjoyed it. Service was prompt and friendly too. Glad we stopped here.

Amazing experience!!!! With someone who had a gluten allergy and the waitress took it very seriously and was so accommodating.
