Highland Pines Campground

This is our first season and I’ve gotten great service already.
When the previous season trailer left, they left a mess in site. I emailed Carlos, and they cleaned up right away just in time for us to “move-in” our trailer.
We look forward to a great season!

Rented one of their cabins mid week and had an absolutely wonderful time. Our kids enjoyed the pool and beach. It was peaceful and quiet Mon-Wed. A real gem for a quick getaway close to our home. Sites were immaculate and staff kept the facilities very tidy!

Amazing place to camp. We stayed in a cabin (just beds and storage with hydro inside and out as well as water outside)
The beds are quite firm so I will definitely be bringing a mattress pad next time. The charcoal BBQ was quite handy!
It was so relaxing, and so much to do. Didn't have to entertain the kids once!! Amazing staff they were so nice and constantly cleaning and repairing things. Definitely our go to place. ( However they need a better bathroom closer to the cabins the outhouse closest is awfully smelly and lots of bugs in the toilet). If your with someone that needs to be closer to a more accommodating bathroom they are a bit of a walk away.

Went here with the fam, stayed in a cabin and we couldn’t believe this place was real. It’s super clean,super fun and always amazing. The place was so good we had to buy a trailer and it was worth it, we’ve been here over 5 years, but we decided to sell because we’re all getting older and won’t get much use out of this with all the sports we’re playing. They bring in food trucks and bands on Canada Day and shoot fireworks. So many unforgettable memories will miss the place.

We've been here 4 times so far and my kids always have a blast. The park is huge with 3 sections and you have access to all. Perfect for camping. Lots of activities. Only 8km from shopping and restaurants if needed. There's a beach area, fishing you name it. I highly recommend this place for families. Also a great place for pets. The have a great dog park as well. It's a nice getaway

Very nice campground. We have been camping for 2 years now now. I really enjoyed this place. It was one of the best private campgrounds so far. Extremely clean,There is great kids playground, splash pad, pool ,pond and an amazing off leash dog area.

A perfect close place! You don’t have to drive for hours. We enjoyed the stay there and our kids played, swam and enjoyed the water splash and volleyball.

Great campground friendly people everything you could want or need in one place

This is a campground not a hotel. It is in a beautiful setting. Has lots of things for the kids to do. The people that work there are very friendly and courteous.

I have a couple friends who have a place here. We decided to visit and found the park to be a very friendly and nice place. The staff at the front gate were great and very helpful. When we went to find parking during an event the staff were very polite and organized and directed us where to go and kept things moving. We loved the Hip cover band and the food trucks! What a great place!

Very nice grounds for trailers. It is very large, 3 areas, 3 pools, 3 playgrounds, etc. Our family had a wonderful time! Grounds were very well kept, and staff very friendly.

Have you been to Sherkston? This is my view and my opinion. Yes! Sherkston is a great place has lots of amenities but this park is breathtaking and it’s not even done yet. Not only is the park grounds beautiful but so are the people always waving always had smiles on their faces. The pool was well maintained with hot tub. The trailers in here are so beautiful each and every one of them had their own personality. Front desk was very nice and so was the staff. I have nothing negative to say about this park.

Clean, Friendly...But you pay for it! - Found the Seasonal Campers in Phase 3 to be so friendly and outgoing to welcome...Lots of kids which it what camping for families is all about...I would suggest Phase 1 and 2 are lower on the friendly scale then phase 3.

After 7 wonderful seasons we decided to sell our park model as our children are entering the highschool years

I wouldn’t trade a single memory made here for any amount of $…Young families with the ability to purchase - Do it, do it soon…We found our boys enjoyed it most ages 4-12

It was great here, lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Grounds very well kept, staff was friendly and helpful.

Just stayed here for our first family camping trip... We were in a tent and it was perfect. Our kids were 100% game to stay for the 2 nights and we loved all of the different activities available. what a breath of fresh air during this Covid-19 mess! Super clean park, easy in and out, very friendly staff, the P section was where we stayed and we loved it was perfect for our tent, we cooked everything over the fire what a truly roughing it experience and will Definitely go again!! Already booked for September! If your looking to try out camping with little ones in tow this is definitely the place!!! So kid friendly, and dog friendly as well!! hope this helps some first timers sway to try it out here!!

This is an amazing park. We spent the canada day long weekend here and it was the best. They have 3 swimming pools a couple playgrounds, couple splash pads and lots of things for kids to do. There is a lake with a sandy beachfront. All the people in the park were so welcoming and friendly. A great place for a family getaway. Would definitely go back. 10/10 would recommend!

Really nice place. Specially the section 2, we got p2 and it was wonderful, near the restrooms, pool and playground. It was out first time camping with the kids. Best advice of course is to collect all food and garbage at night and put it inside the car because raccoons come at night.

1st time glamping here with the kids and it was incredible. They had complimentary activities such as blow up castles, mechanical bull, blow up slides, etc during the long weekend. They also had food trucks, and a live free concert for all the guests. What was a little over the top was that they offered helicopter rides, yes I said helicopter rides which landed on the campground "crazy!" Most of the guests here seem to be permanent residents who either reside in large cottage style trailers or large mobile trailers. If you have pets they have one of the coolest pet friendly dog areas with what seems to be a large playground for dogs to play. The overall vibe at this campground was friendly, people were respectful,responsible and considerate of other campers so they were no annoying park rangers policing people that are trying to have a good time. We have already booked a return visit.

Beautiful well kept campground, very family oriented. Grounds kept immaculate. Staff driving around all weekend emptying garbage etc making sure the place was pristine. Nice sized lots where we were. Probably the nicest and best family campground we have visited in Ontario. Keep up the good work!

Very clean campground. Lots for kids to do. If you're looking for a quiet adult only camp ground. This isn't the place. Labour Day weekend, so much set up for the kids. They loved it
