I stopped here to pick up a couple things on a road trip. Normally people review grocery stores for the cleanliness and pricing. I am reviewing it for the staff and how much they helped me. My phone decided to play funky on my way so I lost my navigation towards my destination. One of your cashiers actually helped me write out directions using her personal device. She genuinely cared about my safety and did whatever she could to help. I sincerely appreciate this. Sending love and light.

Go to Food Basics. Lots of different foods and produce that you can't find anywhere else. Their prices and quality are fantastic. You will be quite happy to shop here as you will come out with change in your pocket. Happy shopping!

food basics is a great store for your bang for a buck. has comparable prices to no frills but the fruits and vegetables are much more fresh. the store is very clean and organized. The employees are very friendly and fast. the only thing I dont like is that they got small isles and it's hard to get by other people. I avoid rush hours because of that everything is a great price. there is lots of parking , although it is a tight squeeze spots are close together. they also have lottery tickets if needed.it is defitnatly worth checking out. if you spend 100 bucks your cart is full

Alway clean with fresh produce. Always friendly faces at the check out. Sometimes sales items are put away before end of sale. Stock has been hit or miss but that’s everywhere these days.

I dropped in to Food Basics after work to pick up a delicious St Hubert Tourtiere pie which was on sale for $4.97

I like shopping here. You get the small town feel and good, reasonable prices. I dont get all my weekly items here, but it's a great start if you want to pay half of what you pay at the higher grocery stores. They have fresh, local produce and the shelves are always stocked.

True to the name, this place has all the basics. Bread, rice, butter, milk, you name it. I saw a section for snacks, one for frozen items and still another for tuna cans. Sometimes I like to just walk through the aisles imagining what it would be like to eat ALL of the basic items at once. One can dream.

I always enjoy shopping at food basics. Great value and products I can't buy elsewhere ie different products in the international aisle. It has been too long and was a pleasure to shop again.
