Pizzeria Sofia (Rosemere)

Went there with the boys. Amazing night. Food is decent (try the lamb chops!), but the service was exceptional. Flau is just amazing, taking care of us all night! If you want a nice evening in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, just stop thinking and go...

Pizza tasted great, wine is a little on the expensive side but hey you get sparkling water included in the price. The calamari and shrimps are in my top 10, they feel light and crunchy.

Pizza 🍕 was well garnished maybe a little on the burned side for the crust, however can be forgiven for a wood stove pizza.

Place had a retro vibe from the Adriatic sea, which were very popular in the early 2000s in Italy with its trendy electro sound.

Staff was quick to serve us, even though the restaurant was full. Dessert were okay, the tiramisu felt more like a cake then the real thing.

Finally the only disappointment was the coffee, for a place with Italian pizzeria vibes the coffee was horrible. Sorry 😞

Love the Sofia Rosemere! We visited on a Saturday Night for a table of 2. The table they gave us was right by the door and the manager asked us if we would rather a high table or sit at the bar instead which we took up on his offer and appreciated he offered. The pizzas and pastas are amazing. The drinks as well they are a little on the pricier side but the food is well priced in my opinion. We had the meatballs to start. Kale salad, fettuccine fungi and burrata pizza. Everything tastes great.

This was the most amazing restaurant experience I had with my service dog, EVERY single one of the staff were so kind, the food was crazy good, I had the appetizer Risotto balls, the Mac and Cheese and the Pizza, everything was so good that me and my partner promised to each other to come back again soon. I recommend this place to everyone period!

Sofia is a hidden gem! Food is same quality as Moretti with pretty much everything getting an A+ whilst being cheaper than Moretti. Overall value is great and the ambiance is similar to a supper club but with less noise so you can still converse. Drinks are fantastic too, recommendation is the Aupale martini (dirty).

Excellent Italian food and excellent service and ambiance: the decoration is really warm! It is a place to recommend, they don't rush you to order or to leave. The price is worth. The only negative point is the music was a bit loud at the end of the evening.

Food was excellent! Staff was amazing. The overall ambiance was great. Nice place to eat and have a 5 a 7.

Honestly just wow what an atmosphere loved it from top to bottom from the wine to the food to the waiters… everything just tasted magical we had calamari and lamb chops and a shared margarita thin crust pizza with a nice red wine. We will definitely be back thank you again so much

Great ambiance and great pizza. We were a group of 6 and had Jasmine as our server. She was amazing and did a great job serving us all night.

Party of 3. All loved our experience. We had fried shrimp and calamari, the octopus and pizzas. The capriciosa pizza was amazing. Also recommend their desserts. We loved the lemon tart. The place itself is beautiful and happening. The staff was very nice. We were just a bit disappointed that our waitress was not able to explain the wine list that well and did not seem to know the wines but would still go back anytime.

Update: We went back since the original review many times and food and service was amazing each time. Some of my favorites dishes are the calamari, Grilled lamb chops, Burrata pizza. We love going there.

The place is a great place, nice ambience, amazing bite, everything was great, but Daphne, the server was out of this world, wow, just wow, I would go there again just for her, she was on top of things, knew how to handle everything, quick to respond, checks on you all the time, always makes sure you don’t need anything, the whole team was great, we sat in a spot that the sun was hitting the corner of our table, we demanded for the waiter to close the awning above us, she was quick and to the point, she was yelled at by the manager to not touch the awning and he took the remove from her, I was a little upset, that’s not a way to treat a hard working person, Daphne took that with a salt of grain and never changed her smile or Attitude, bravo Daphne, good job on that, you who made a difference with our visit, we enjoyed it a lot , thank you for your services. Thus the high tip! The only way to show my appreciation. We will be back soon, I highly suggest this place for a nice Italian food, you will not be disappointed. Daphne merci pour t’a sourire !

Service was very slow in the beginning. There was boy much people and alot of staff so we were about to leave.
But then our waiters got chnaged by Flex

Let's start saying that I'm Italian, moved from Italy few years ago. That was the best pizza I've ever had here in Canada! Cannoli delicious as well! Simply AMAZING

From the decor to the service you're welcome the moment you walk in. Personally I only had dessert and wine during my visit but I did taste my friend's pizza and it was great! Whether you're sitting around a large table with friends, at the bar for a drink, or a table for two with your significant other, the staff will accommodate you accordingly and make sure your visit is memorable. Now, the dessert I got was a lemon meringue pie. I'm a big fan of lemon flavored dessert and generally gravitate to them. When I saw it on the menu I knew I had to try it. However, I'm also very picky because of this. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The balance between the lemon and the italian meringue was perfect. The wild berry compote and blueberries were a perfect addition. Finally the pine nuts added the texture you needed. Definitely going back, definitely eating pasta and/or pizza this time, DEFINITELY getting this dessert.

Honestly after waitting 30 minutes of our réservation the owner offered us free pizza and calamars and shrimps very big respect for that , the service was excellent theres was always someone there more our needs . Best place to go thank you very much the the team sofia rosemere

Really nice place to visit if you’re in thé Rosemère area. Food is really good and I was super happy to see all the gluten free options. The gluten free crust was one of the best I’ve had. Nice ambiance and service was really friendly. Check it out for sure! 💪💯
