Absolutely love this place.
The coffee is just the way I like it....which is as far from Starbucks as possible.
There are all sorts of treats and light meals here....you can even get fresh loaves of bread. Awesome.
My one criticism is, if you have a peanut allergy, you're out of luck. There is no separation of food allergens on the premisis so my son cannot eat anything from there.

Friends may be on the pricey side, but it is worth it. All of the desserts are fresh, the coffee is amazing quality and it is always clean inside. Amazing staff always greet you with warm smiles. They even have a discount dessert basket and homemade jumbo pickles that I love. The only downside for me is that they only take cash, which isn't that big of a deal. Everyone coming into Manitouwadge needs to stop in there.

I stopped in here for a little snack. I was surprised that such a place existed.

I ordered the blueberry cheesecake and it was great! I ended up coming back later to order the pumpkin pie.

Service was extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is driving by Manitouwadge who needs a little glucose!

This is my favourite little cafe between Thunder Bay and the Saulte. The baked goods have a real homemade deliciousness and feel and the cafe itself is clean and bright and offers a nice spot to have a hot drink with a friend or relax read a book.
When you go, remember to bring cash as they do not accept card payments.

This bakery and coffee shop is a hidden little gem hidden in a little Northern Ontario community.
The owner greets every customer that walks in the doors with a big smile and knows early everyone on a first name basis.
If you ever find yourself in town, definitely stop in and grab one of their fresh baked brownies and a coffee for the road!

I remember the day this place opened when I was in high school. Was a great place then and is a great place now. Stop here every time I visit this little town I grew up in. Great food/coffee and always great people!

Best place and best people they have makes it even better. The lady at the front desk was so nice and polite, cant tell how impressed i am, beyond expectations, love it.

I dont mind paying a little extra for places like this to survive. It is the north and be thankful we have it :} The pizza and soup and sandwiches are the best and the sweets are sweeter...lol
