The Table

Wow! We can to The Table all the way out from Edmonton to partake in a special plated meal event right during the polar vortex chill. What we experienced was one of the most mind blowing meals ever.

The food was astounding. Every dish was prepared with such care and attention to detail as part of the whole evening. Even the cocktails and special coffees were amazing.

The service was phenomenal. Our server / owner was so engagingly delightful, funny and attentive.

And the space is so quaint. It serves as a store front for many local wares but also delicious lunches and java by day.

I'd give this SIX stars across the board except then I'd have to go back and readjust every other review I've ever done. Even if you are 45 minutes out of town in Edmonton, this is well worth a trip out. You won't regret it!

Hidden gem ! This lovely place has awesome food, coffee is one on the best I've tasted (believe me, I am a coffee snob and I've been to a lot of coffee shops) the latte is perfect to me. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Ambiance is calm with nice music and the decor is very tasteful. Will become my favorite place soon, too bad they aren't closer to Edmonton.

Extraordinary hoisin pork belly sandwich, and big fresh baked cookies. There is nothing else with this hip atmosphere unless you drive in to the city. Loved it.

Wow! We found a lovely coffee shop right in the heart of Onoway. So great to see a cool coffee shop with an upbeat, boho vibe, full of locally sourced items for sale too. Large indoor table for a bigger group plus a couple others for seating and a deck outside with 4 more tables. Umbrellas too for those hotter times of day. Lisa, the owner, is super friendly and helpful and chatted with us and gave us some history of their place too. I would highly recommend supporting this local, well-operated business in Onoway. We ate the flourless chocolate brownie, delish! Park at the end of the building on Main Street for easier accessibility for walkers or wheel chairs. We didn’t have the sandwiches or salads but they looked absolutely fantastic! Take a turn here whether you’re local or making a special stop to try something new. You won’t be disappointed.

This cafe features a phenomenal team of staff and fresh delicious baked goods and pastries. The ambience is nice and unique.

Each week they feature a different lunch sandwich which helps keep the menu fresh! I tried the Mamma Mia sandwich and it was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had!

What an amazing hidden gem. The owners are the salt of the earth kind of people. The food is the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend booking in for the private dinners on the weekends, what an experience! Worth every penny.

This place is awesome! The food is great, the owners are wonderful and, most importantly, the coffee is excellent (Candid Coffee from Edmonton). Definitely worth driving from the Yellowhead if you’re headed west or coming from the mountains. You won’t regret it!

This is a very cute coffee shop. The menu is limited but everything on it looks amazing. I had the salad, and I will be dreaming about it.

I avoid wheat and dairy, so I didn't try any other food, but my friend had the lunch sandwich and I was feeling pretty jealous!

The only thing I didn't love was the lack of tables. There is one large communal table and lots of window/bat type seating. If the big table is full you will have to sit side by side with your companion, rather than across from eachother.

Amazing! If I could give them 100 stars, I would. I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. The people are always kind, warm and friendly. The drinks are out of this world (hot and cold). Their food, tastebud explosion! Unique flavours, very fresh and made with so much love. Ah, I just love everything about The Table.

My boyfriend and I were passing thru and decided to stop by The Table for lunch and a coffee. I am so happy we made that decision. The food was delicious! The store was super cool with locally made goodies.

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff was super friendly and chatty (and adorable). The food was amazing and all the local market/vendor stuff just adds to the overall experience of the place. Definitely make a stop here and check it out!

Happy to support local establishments that are serving up more than frozen processed foods. This place is a charming and refreshing find in a small town. I enjoyed the sandwich I bought a couple weeks ago and will be again soon!

A spectacular little hideaway closer to my place in Stony than heading to West Edmonton! Lunch was gourmet with a Cafe vibe. I'm looking forward to our private dining night in Dec!

Beautiful little spot in the small town of Onoway! Great people and service; I enjoyed just a cookie (which was delicious) and a coffee but plan to stop by again the next time I go through to enjoy some of the food that looked great too!

Nice patio. Great service. Delicious food. My husband and I had the featured sandwich. My friend had the Tomato galette. The white chocolate raspberry scone was also amazing.

What a gem! Amazing sandwiches that you can tell is made with the love and care you only find in rural Alberta, but served in a atmosphere that you expect to find in the coolest parts of the big cities. Fresh amazing ingredients, unique combinations, and mouth watering sauces and glazes. They make a new sandwich each week (and only one type a week) so it's worth coming back several times. This should be a stop on every roadtrip! Ugh and the cookies are just as good!

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been a handle of times now, and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend trying their scones! As a vegetarian my lunch options can be limited, but I had the cook craft me up a meat free sandwich and it was to die for! If you aren’t local I still suggest heading out and making this a destination. I’ll definitely keep coming back!
