Orleans Brewing Co. - OBC

Orleans’ hidden gem. Unassuming from the outside but everything on their unique menu is delightful and reasonably priced. The micro-brews are as creative as the food and available to-go if you enjoyed them with your meal.

Highly recommend trying a flight of four of their beers and see what you like - let’s keep supporting small local businesses that punch above their weight like OBC does!

I've driven past without realizing that there was a bar and kitchen. We were looking for a place to go and realized my mistake after reading the obc website. There are lots of tables upstairs as well as tables on the ground floor and seats at the bat. We only tried a couple of beers so far but look forward to trying more from obc as what we tried were great. The staff were friendly and attentive and the flatbread we ate was delicious. We will be back.

The beer was absolutely delightful, the food surpassed expectations, and the staff was phenomenal. We love the idea of playing board games and drinking beer! Such a nice little spot!!!🍺

Honestly a great local East End Ottawa venue. Owners are present, bilingual, and fantastic - truly committed to every patron feeling welcome and well-served. Insane how much quality brew pub grub threw churn out from a tiny corner kitchen. A must stop, go check it out!

I tried some of their "Maple Cabin" maple ale at the Vanier Sugar Festival 2024 and it was absolutely fantastic. 🍁🍻

Attended the Valentines Dinner tonight with another couple tonight. It was very good. Although the corsets were small, after 4 courses. We were all full. The dinner was excellent. We have been to 4 and 5 star Ottawa restaurants and since COVID haven’t enjoyed them as much and yet paid 30 to 40% more. Good job OBC.💕. My only suggestion to the caterer would be to have more flavour in the risotto. But top marks for the risotto’s nice creamy texture.

Love going to this place.
Always a great selection of different types of beer. They like to experiment, so always something new to try too, if you like that.
Their wheat beer and IPA are great standards.

Like their beer, their menu has some interesting choices and changes regularly. The candied bucket of bacon on the left the picture, delicous.

We stopped by after trying a Burst cider at Occo Kitchen, since it's just down the street from it. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and menu options. We only stayed for a bit and had just eaten so could not try the food, but we are definitely stopping by to also enjoy the food next time. For drinks, the Raspberry Sour and Juicy McHazy were our top picks! The staff were fun and incredibly friendly! Great service 😀 Can't wait to stop by again (they also have events like trivia or bingo nights, and weekly casks).

I love our local pub. Their beers are amazing without a doubt but their food menu is incredible too.

I ordered 4 can of beer from the OBC website and took a little longer than promised to receive it. They made it up by expediting the order by having it delivered by Yan. All and all the order went well. The wait was worthwhile because the beer I ordered was great, I ordered the Maple Ale and the Kolsch Lagered Ale. I will be purchasing this beer again for sure.

First time and great selection of craft beers with lots of unique flavors! Will definitely be looking forward to return in the future! Personnel is very friendly and helpful!

Second time here! Hidden gem of a place. Server was on her game, the cheese tacos were not wet, just cheese with sour cream and the wings were perfectly cooked👍. We had a couple 16 oz. kolsch, liked it so much we brought a 6 pack home! Will go back✌

Good beer and the food is great too! Small menu, but easy to find something satisfying. The grilled cheese is very cheesy! Ball caps are out of stock until at least December unfortunately

Its a microbrewery. Its a MICROBREWERY DONE RIGHT! The focus is the beer not the food. Although the food is excellent and the chefs are all well experienced, there is no kitchen. Some nights they use the barbeque for meals but.... We came for the beer. The prep station is more than adequate to turn out delicious meals light meals. I appreciate that each beer has a well thought out pun as a title , very amusing.

I had the pleasure to discover this place yesterday afternoon. The Ottawa area is fortunate to have a community of young entrepreneurs who make great beer and help each other out, according to the owner. The Kolsch me ousside and the Smokin' Brown were excellent! All the elements of a great beer were there. But the big surprise was also their delicious pizza - Flatbreads on charcoal. I noticed that they use the "Cowboy" charcoal which I particularly like. Try the Maple cabin ! Congratulations to the whole team and your entrepreneurial spirit.

We ordered a couple sandwiches and fries for lunch from OBC. They are the perfect size for a midday meal and both were very tasty. The only thing is their menu says the fries come with a dip but it didn't get delivered with our order. Other than that, it was great. Will order from here again!

Great customer service, & tasty cider. I ordered the peach cider. I forgot to take a picture though..... I forgot to add that the fries here are a perfect crispy 👌 & served with a tasty, maybe mayonnaise based sauce.

This review is based on a single visit but it was impressive. Beer was fantastic ( I had a sampler of their IPA'S) and the food was even better. Small menu, mostly Bistro/pub fare. This place is not fancy, the location is not that great, but I would say it is one of those places that flies under the radar until you visit and then you ask yourself why have I not been here before.
We will definitely be back!
