I cannot believe how nice they are and how wonderful food it is before I eat here. It is very impressive experience to me. The beef soup with cheese bread are amazing dish that I never ate before. Before I continue my driving, she even gives me free coffee. Nice place and person here!

Quaint! Genuine old school service. Very reasonable prices and decent food.
Old school cafe, this is it. We try to stop whenever we pass by. Burgers, chicken Sandos and breakfast specials are recommended.

How lucky I was that I needed a coffee just as I was passing by. Unexpected nice surprise, such a cozy place next to the highway. I had a French toast to go with the coffee and it was delicious.

We stumbled upon this place after the power went out in all of Revelstoke. I'm glad it worked out. Wonderful service and fantastic food. Eggs looked farm fresh. Veggies in the omelettes we extra crisp. All the facilities had charm but were very clean. Would visit again.

A really neat hole in the wall Mom and Pop grill. Some classics on the menu and the food did not disappoint! We had a mushroom burger, onion rings and the fluffiest pancakes ever!

Great breakfast, farm fresh eggs, real potato hashbrowns, crunchy bacon. Reasonable prices, friendly owner. They serve tea right! Oh, and homemade jam too. Must stop on the way by.

Passed this place so many times, this time we dropped in, and glad we did. best french toast I've ever had in a restaurant. Service was amazing, I love family run businesses, and this is one of those gems. You have to take the time and eat here. Menu prices are among the cheapest I've seen in 2023. Very reasonable.

Rustic, real and beautiful cafe right on the highway! I only have good things to talk about this place. No show business here. We ordered coffee and snack items. It was great. The lady who served us was a beautiful human being. Hardworking and generous. Felt at home here. Also the place is so very less expensive that we went and asked the lady if she charged us less or forgot to charge us for any item. She said she did not charge for the coffee! She was super sweet. We left with good memories and warmth. We ll not skip visiting again if we cross this place again.

The food is delicious! Good size portions, good prices! Everyone is so nice!!!

Don't let the look of the old place fool you. The food is surprisingly amazing, very fairly priced. We ordered 5 different dishes and all were top notch. Heather was our waitress and Rona was the mastermind of the delicious food, we didn't get to speak to Rona but Heather was a wonderful waitress and very pleasant at what she does. I won't judge the place based on the look but the food and prices deserve more then 5 stars.

A very nice welcome by the tenant who handle the restaurant since 1985, took over her parents who started it in 1967.
A warm and welcoming athmosphere with descent food, large quantity and cheap price !
Definitely the place to stop before crossing the mountain !

I was passing by on my bicycle ride for GCC Canada and I saw a neat little cafe off the highway alongside the service road. I was greeted by a super polite server, my the owner. Loved my food which was, in my opinion, too reasonably priced. They must only be able to do this because of the following of regulars. But this time I didn’t even get the chance to leave a tip because they decided to make their donation to this Sick Kids rider. A free dinner. And their spaghetti was fantastic. Thanks a lot guys!

A friendly atmosphere, good home style fare and reasonable pricing make this cafe one I stop at regularly. You want to know "Where the truckers eat"? Well this is where at least one trucker does every time my route sends my by, roughly on a twice a month basis.

caring owner, great grandma, great atmosphere and many things to do while waiting. when we went, she was the only one there in the morning with 7 of us but the food was so worth the wait, real maple syrup, jam and coffee. thanks for having us and a proper breakfast! we forgot to take pictures because we ate it all 🤣.

Was looking for breakfast in Revelstoke and only found overpriced, trendy spots, some even closed on Monday. Was SO worth the drive to Malakwa. Friendly service, amazing diner food. Vegetarian friendly too... exchanged meat for tomato on their special.

This is such a charming place! The service was amazing, everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was good and the atmosphere was so cute. I loved the collection of teapots.

Stopped in for breakfast and had the breakfast special. Food was great! I’m picky about how my eggs are cooked (scrambled hard but not dried out) and they were cooked perfectly! Multigrain toast was also really good quality bread. Will definitely eat here again.

Great staff, great prices, and some really good soup. Cozy and welcoming, worth the stop.
