I recently enjoyed a latte with lemon poppy seed at this cozy coffee shop, and it was delightful! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with good vibes all around. The shop had plenty of space, making it perfect for both catching up with friends and finding a quiet corner to work. I highly recommend stopping by for a relaxing and enjoyable coffee experience.

Really loved this coffee shop. I had a mocha latté and a brownie and both were nice.
There is a lot of space and different seating areas.
It has a cool vibe which is perfect for meet ups, work, study and reading.

I was in the area and looking for a coffee shop and saw this shop. The place is nice and cozy for either your afternoon chill or work. Coffee bean they are using definitely a premium one. Their employees were nice. Maybe nextime if I’m in the area I will try their teas and food.

Love love love. Best coffee in town with the best atmosphere. The live music is so entertaining and lively. The best place where you can come with friends. Coffee is strong and served hot. The staff is very friendly… definitely recommend to visit this place

My fav coffee shop uptown Waterloo! Service is always great, atmosphere is warm and inviting. A perfect place to meet up with friends/family. Every drink I've tried has been great. I haven't tried any of the foods, because of a severe wheat allergy, but everything looks amazing 😁

This is by far the best coffee I have tried in the region, and I have tried plenty xD the coffee is lightly roasted so you can feel the notes.
The atmosphere in this place is amazing, super cozy and great to sit and sip your coffee on a gloomy rainy day. Tried the bagel with cream and it makes for a nice light breakfast.

Outstanding Service! I've heard good things about the atmosphere here and they are all true. Very clean environment as well. My caramel iced latte was very well made and tasted great. They give you mugs/glasses instead of single use cups! Great study spot and ambient background music

A perfect place to chill, study, read, or to just coffee chat with friends or family. I enjoyed their cream cheese bagel a lot! Though it took a while. Iced americano was a little too watery, otherwise the coffee was pretty good, too. I like their Cortado. ☕

My wife and I were first time customers for the coffee mug painting event. Was a fun and unique date night for us. Our mugs turned out great, despite my lack of painting skills.

The service isn't always super fast, so you may need to be patient if you're in a hurry.

Suggestions:
Pour over coffee, which is aromatic, mild, and refreshing.
London fog, which has a nice balance of Earl Grey tea, milk, and vanilla syrup and just the right level of sweetness.
I also suggest the Montréal smoked meat sandwich. It's very yummy, relatively healthy with no extra cheese or high-calorie sauces, and with a fair price.

The cafe experience was really good. We took some indoor pictures as well and it turned out really well.

Amazing matcha latte! Was pretty crowded and people had difficulties finding places to sit! Great ambiance for studying!

Love the atmosphere at this cafe! Looks like a popular spot to chat and/or study. Tables have ample space for laptops and food+drinks, but be aware not every table had accessible outlets. Service was above and beyond!!

This location had a reputable cafe previously but Midnight Run has surpassed the quality of espresso and other drink selections alongside a new face lift making their space inviting to the local demographic. If you’re not in the market for coffee they also have a bagels selection and fresh tasting deserts. Good amount of seating outdoor and indoor .

Experienced baristas, very good espresso beverages and tasty food items. One of the best espresso bars in KW.
I wish if they had power outlets, but it is not a regular commercial coffee chain.

It is 2024 and Midnight Run is still one of the best espresso bars in the region.

A fantastic cafe to work for a bit. The oat latte I got was one of the best I’ve had in the city. The bagel isn’t worth the price but good. The music is great and not too loud too 👍

I had their Nakamura (anaerobic fermented) beans made into a latte. Amazing coffee to say the least. That said, I find it a bit crowded, and the tables to be unstable. Furthermore, I found the chair uncomfortable especially for someone with sitting issues.

Midnight run is awesome :D The atmosphere is really nice, as well as the staff and the patrons. The menu is great, super simple but gives you what you'd want/need. The matcha latte was specifically yummy. Also tried the orange load (not pictured) and it was great too. Really recommend this place :P
