Amazing experience and customer service. The new owner is extremely kind and accommodating and went out of his way to support me after I had an issue with my skates (the issue was no fault of his). And the rest of the staff were also very kind and helpful! Definitely recommend.

Got my and my girlfriend's skates sharpened here last week. Came to $9 after tax for each pair. Did a quick and good job for a solid price.

Fantastic service, great staff, and the best skate sharpening in the city. Parking can be a little tricky, but it's worth the time. New ownership is dedicated to maintaining the legacy with improvements. Price, friendly service, and quality work is always worth the detour.

Great service. The owner and staff really care about both their clients and hockey. Skate sharpening is always consistent and they ask how you like your skates done so it's tailored to your style (ex: I'm a goalie but I like my skates sharper than normal).

Best sharpening service I've ever experienced.

I've been going there for many years and even if I live more than 30 mins away, I still go there. By far, the best sharpening you can get in town and all the guys there are both absolute pros at their job and friendly people to talk with. Can't recommend enough!

This is the best place to go for anything skate related. Sharpening, profiling, repair or new/used skates. They are very experienced, helpful and sharpen skates better than any one. As my daughter always says "In Gus we trust"

These guys are all about service. The opposite of big box. Number one reason to go: the skate sharpening, I swear they are the best in the West end of Montreal. You can buy 20 sharpening for 100$, tax included. Worth it if you have two or three skaters in the family. The products in the store are boutique, so you do not have a huge selection, nor do they have sales. They do fit you with the right equipment in either new or used. They cut your stick to the proper length and tape it for you. You get what you pay for, equipment that fits you and will allow you to play at your best. My son got a helmet there last year, this year his head grew and the salesman took five minutes to refit the helmet for him for this season better than I could have. Now my son is safe and comfortable. Maybe I paid an extra 5 bucks for the helmet.... money well spent. We got a helmet for my daughter on sale at a big box store last year. We had to buy her a new one this year because it was too small for her this year. We shoulda got it at Sport au Gus... we would not have had the problem this year. When we did buy her a new helmet at Sport au Gus this year, the salesman, removed the ringette mask from her old helmet and installed it on the new helmet before he fitted it on her, making sure the helmet had growing space to last at least two seasons.
