River City Games

A utopia of gaming! Truly the largest supply of fun I’ve ever seen, especially in this part of Canada. The go to shop for board games, DND, billiards, darts, puzzles, and more.

Lots of Covid-19 policies in place, store was extremely clean, and the team member working made a point to tidy up after customers left.

Not only will we be retuning here, I will absolutely be recommending all of my friends stop here too!

Puzzle are very fun and challenging very creative to making it. Fun to build and frame it on the wall.

Stop in every couple months to check out the new monopoly games they have in stock. Staff is very friendly and the store is very clean and organized. This is any board game players dream store AND we stop in for new accessories for our darts when needed.

I have only great things to say about my experience here. The Sherwood park store recently opened close to us. We went in and had a great experience. The lady working was helpful and knowledgable, we purchased a few games and experienced difficulty with one. I contacted the store and the same lady went above and beyond to address our concerns. She was able to take the game back after calling around. It was such a great experience and she went way above our expectations. We will certainly be back and recommend this store to others :)

Much cleaner then the other River City Games and so much more room to walk around. Was also much easier to social distance because of the extra space. The cashier was very helpful and was very knowledgeable about games as she was able to help us locate what we were looking for and double checked to make sure we already had everything we needed to play the game we purchased. Thanks!

It looks like this place is still in the process of collecting inventory, but the games that they do have are fantastic choices. I've played a number of them with friends already and can't wait to go back for more.

They also stock puzzles and even gaming tables! One day (when I have the space) I dream of having one of those tables for game nights with my friends.

Note: there is a dog that comes to work with the manager here. He is adorable, extremely well behaved, and so friendly with both adults and kids!

These guys are great! Great selection and reasonable prices If you need a game they don't have on the shelf, they can usually order it in.

We had to buy a gift for a birthday and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked how they could help us. We found the perfect gift with the help of the ladies on staff. We will definitely be back to buy more games for our own family!

I’m always impressed by the selection at River City Games. I sometimes go just to browse, but I almost always find something to buy. It’s great to have so much to choose from right in Sherwood Park!

Above and beyond service, Sherwwod Park! Looking for game they did not have, quickly checked, 3 at Kingsway, called, no answer. Took my number and called me one day later to say they got it from Kingsway, wow!
