Unsure if he is the manager or owner, but I can no longer shop at this location period. I was in almost every second day until last June 2023. After some very pushy, rude incidents with him over the 7-11 loyalty program where he tried to trick or bully me into signing up, the final straw was seeing how he spoke to his staff and unhoused people.

This store is a 2-minute walk from my house, but I have been going to the Husky, a 5-minute drive away, for a better experience. Today I didn't have a choice because of a meeting and saw that nothing had changed. I was the only customer in the store when he started berating the young girl who was working around 8:15 a.m. Nov 21, 2023. She was so flustered that she struggled to find the products I was asking for while he continued to talk down to her in front of me. I did not get everything I needed because I felt so bad for her and wanted to let her out of the interaction. From a customer perspective, whatever he was talking to her about was not a fire that had to be handled at that second and made the experience unpleasant for me. From a successful retail operator's perspective, only a jerk gives that kind of performance feedback in front of a customer on a regular basis. We all have bad days, but this is obviously how he interacts with people.

The hourly staff here are excellent and do not deserve the kind of treatment they get from their rude, creepy manager. I will continue to drive the five minutes.

I came in here to buy something and my tap didn't go through on the card reader. The girl who was working Gurleen yelled at me that i needed to insert my card and rolled her eyes at me. Meanwhile she spoke nicely to the person who bought something after me.

A 24h store thats closed at night is not 24h. Why the short hours of operation. And why are you listed as 24h?

This place truly deserves a 1-star. Come here if you like stinky service or usually no service at all! As it is not a “24” convenience store.

Forced me to give my phone number in order to purchase. When asked after why I needed to provide such info, I was informed it was for deals. Friends were also forced to provide that information and were told to give my number when they said they didn’t want to.

This place says it's open 24 hours but don't be fooled it's 4:14 AM and it's not open. Although there's somebody inside They say that they are just open for delivery orders. Im call the manager in the morning, this is a terrible lie of a 711. Very disappointing. Take you business elsewhere

The manager of the store is a really pushy creepy guy. The last time I came here he got me to check out using their app and the self scan kiosk. It was super annoying and awkward and he kept pressing me to do it. I came back today and he started doing something similar. I went to the front to check out and he says use the self scan and tried to take my phone. I move my phone and firmly say no thanks. He asks again and again tries to take my phone. I again say no. I just want to pay and leave at the till. Then he comes around and stands really close to me and again tries to take my phone. I finally pay and I say no to him AGAIN and I told him he’s way too pushy and he makes me uncomfortable.

Really the 7-eleven location I prefer no one to visit. Really rude staff. They literally refuse to open restroom which is an understandable convenience they promise to provide to community but won’t open upon request. Staff says they will have to clean it again for upcoming shift.

Pregnant have to use the washroom didnt allow me

Fuelled up, walked into the store just to find out the washrooms are unavailable DUE TO COVID19. I tried requesting him because I really had to use it but he was so rude and said “Look at the washroom door, there is a poster of it being closed due to covid”
Really? “Tareq” needs to find a better reason to lock the washroom, that reason is outdated.
If you don’t want to let people use the washroom, why not just permanently get rid of it.
Would take my business to the husky within a minutes drive who let me use the washroom when I didn’t even spend a dollar there.

Tried to get snacks at 1am, door was locked and employee was just on his phone and didn’t care. Pls update the hours if it’s not gonna open at 1am
