H MART

Didn't really explore to long. But it had a great selection of sauces, noodles, vegetables, candy, frozen foods and pre made foods. The extra eateries inside was a great add on. It's nice to see the good being used smartly. Honestly for the size of the store, it had a large amount of items.

The area is decorated very well. We got ramen, yaki udon, and takoyaki. Service was quick, and the food was delicious. The menu has a lot of dishes, so there’s a lot of options to choose from. I highly recommend coming over for a meal.

We really enjoyed our first visit into H mart. Really clean, nice selections and we had lunch there. Loved it!

A mini Korean grocery store in the University area. They stock produce, beauty goods, frozen foods and hot food. The hit food selection includes Deli Items, Korean Fried Chicken, Dumplings and Soup. There is ready made items as well as items cooked to order. They is a large seating area if you want to dine it. They charge for plastic bags so bring your own reusable bags.

It is our first visiting here at h-mart. Huge place,lots of food and price is really good too. Specially workers r soooooo nice. They smiling all the time and very helpful.(Jane!!!!!!) It makes us to visit again here. So glad you guys give us such a good day. 👍

Edit: I chatted with a cashier at my last visit and was told the immature cashier no longer works here. There seems to have been another change in management, and the store has gotten a lot cleaner and reasonably priced! It's nice to see they listen to their customers, and I hope things continue like this. :)

I live by College Plaza and have been shopping here since the store opened. I've seen it go through a rollercoaster of management, and while the store isn't perfect, I frequent this place from the friendliness of their cashiers. In recent months, they've drastically changed the cashiers, and one of them has been extremely immature. I've seen her leave her register, with customers lined up, to DANCE around the store, have heard her raise her voice with customers who have a language barrier, and even heard her announce over the intercom for customers to "get out of the store." She just seems impatient with her basic responsibilities, seemingly in a rush to leave her register again to continue socializing with co-workers. I've never in my life seen anything like this at any other grocery store and I really hope something gets done about this!

Asian market with some Canadian staples and a great new restaurant that features reasonable prices..

It's a different way to shop. Lots of eastern Asian products and produces, predominantly Korean.
Vegetables and fruits are of good quality. Meats are also of good quality at a decent price.
Staff is really lovely.
Don't forget to ask your membership card!

I walked through the whole store. Lol, couldn't read a label. But if you look, all labels had English. The prices seemed faire. Nd I really do want to try some products

Loved it here, I didn't have enough time really explore but I'm coming back.

It's one of those mart that I love to call delightful ,and it is. The attitude of the staffs are so helpful, and polite never trails behind you. The produce is always fresh. The deli section is yummy 😋. And most of all I get to practice my Korean with these amazing people 👍

Absolutely love HMart! Food/products is sometimes a little expensive, but I’m assuming it’s because a lot of items are imported. Definitely try their pre-made meals! Only disappointed I don’t see them selling the pre-cooked Takoyaki, Haemul Pajeon or Corndogs like they do at the Calgary Trail location (at least that I’ve seen).

Korean grocery store. It's got fair size but caters to the university crowd. It's not nearly as large as the Calgary Trail H Mart or TNT but it still has a lot of good selection. Totally recommend.

Despite its relatively small size, I really appreciate the wide range of products that H-Mart offers. Food, drink, pastry, kitchen accessories, snacks, you name it.

In a pinch, I can always come there and enjoy some gimbap, or some hot lunch. Seriously, I wish to know what kind of rice-cooking technique they used to make that kind of soft and fluffy rice.

The staffs are friendly, and I have come enough times to remember them (and they remember me).

Highly recommend this place and I wish them all the success in the Garneau neighborhood.

It was really fun, my friends and I enjoyed the food a lot especially the takoyaki. The service was efficient and kind, would totally come again!

Has what you need some things over priced

Great Place for Grocery shopping and to get ready to eat meals. Produce is great quality and although this Hmart looks to be half the size of the one on Calgary Trail, they still have a huge variety of goods, but not much stock, understandably. Frozen food, snacks, cosmetics, canned goods, and small dining area available here.
