Martina was a pleasure to work with from the beginning...very communicative and delivered a wonderful final product at a reasonable price! Our cat loved her too : )

We hired Martina to clean up some trim in a few places around our house and install shiplap in our front hall. She was amazing! She got rid of a bunch of eyesores and made our front hall super functional. She is also absolutely lovely to work with and it was a pleasure having her around the house for a couple of weeks. We highly recommend her!

We recently had Trim and Thistle replace all of the window trim and baseboard in our home. We also had Martina (business owner and carpenter ) build us a custom headboard for our Master Bedroom. The attention to detail and quality workmanship was absolutely a cut above our expectations. Martina was a joy to have in our home as she is very personable and even tolerated our overly friendly dog. Martina is not only an extremely good carpenter, she is also very creative and meticulous in producing pristine results.

Where do I even begin with Martina! We had our flooring re-done so we hired her for baseboard and trim installation. Feels silly to minimize our experience to just that as Martina is truly so much more than just your run of the mill carpenter - her soft skills, clear communication, attention to detail and all around awesome personality is truly unmatched and a rare find. I had hired many contractors in our renovation journey, Martina was the last and certainly left the most lasting impression. After months of having my home ripped apart, it was refreshing to deal with someone who made things feel so easy and cared so much about her work as well as building a relationship with us. Thank you for everything Martina, easily one of the best decisions I could have made for my home!

We first hired Martina to update our laundry room and were absolutely thrilled with the results. We recently hired Martina again to paint the main floor of our home. Once again, our expectations were exceeded. There is a particularly tricky spot in our kitchen that tends to peel. Martina took the time to do some research and come up with a solution. She noticed a few doors that weren't closing properly and offered to repair them. She is so professional and such a nice person to have in our home. She is hard working, reliable and takes great pride in her work. Martina, you are one in a million! I will not hesitate to hire you for future projects. Thank you!

Martina recently replaced all the trim on our main floor and the results are spectacular! Martina was a joy to have around and work with! Her attention to detail is meticulous.. The process from quote and ideas, including all communication and was smooth and simple (and she is tidy and vacuums up all the dust etc as she goes!). We exchanged ideas and Martina adjusted some plans along the way which made the whole process very enjoyable. I look forward to having Martina back to do some more work someday and am happy to provide a great recommendation to anyone!

Martina is simply the best! She has completed so many projects in our home, including trim install, painting, and some amazing Ikea hack built-ins. To say we have been happy with her work is an understatement. Martina takes so much pride in her work. She is very skilled and has a meticulous attention to detail. She listens to the homeowners needs and wants and always comes up with great ideas and she really just goes above and beyond. It is a joy to have her in our home!

The first time we hired Martina was last year , we left on a holiday for a week and handed over the keys. Not only was her work done very well , she looked after our house and sent picture updates ! Since then we have had her back to complete many items on my “ honey to do list” . She has provided solutions, is trustworthy and a ray of sunshine . I highly recommend her, however my list continues so I would like to keep her to myself.

Warning: You may be looking for more projects to be done around your house after hiring Martina. Martina did our basement trim and doors. We had some tricky bulkheads and not so level floors but she provided lots of reassurance. She did amazing work and her bubbly personality makes you never want her to leave.

I LOVE my board and batten walls and new entrance-way!! I came with some Pinterest pictures, a vision and some very uneven walls. Martina brought the technical skills, product knowledge, attention to detail and creativity to adapt my vision to the space at hand. Thank you, Martina! You managed to transform a dark, wonky stairwell into a bright, upscale space. I will definitely use your services in the future.

We were looking to transform our kitchen without doing a complete overhaul as our house is just 5 years old. Martina helped us completely change our cupboard colours on half the kitchen in order to show a two-tone look. We went from dark brown to white. Her quality was so good, it looks like the refreshed cupboards came right out of the factory. Awesome quality and a really nice person to have in our home. We will 100% ask for her expertise and professionalism again.

Martina updated many interior doors and trim, added crown moulding and baseboards, painted (alot!) including a two story staircase area. She is professional, meticulous and always left the space tidy each night, so we could maneuver the space. Highly recommended!

Originally hired Martina to paint trim and one bedroom. She was punctual, courteous and did a spectacular job (and I'm VERY picky!). We were so impressed, we ended up hiring her right back to paint almost the entire home. She'll even fix holes in walls. Such a great experience!

Beyond happy with Martina’s work.. Her attention to detail is perfection.. Honestly.. exceeded all my expectations.. I can’t even list all the things she did .. But there was a lot… Lol…she did not disappoint ..restored my faith after a previous fail by another professional in our very first experience into home renovation.. will 100% have Martina back into our home.. she put up with my family craziness .. especially the furry members..She is also the sweetest human:)
