The Corporation of the Township of Stone Mills

Just moved into the township… mailbox gets crushed by the plow, this past weekend (January 12-13 2024)

Neighbours boxes getting fixed by the township but not mine?

No one will answer… do I have to carry in my broken box as a first timer? (My neighbours didn’t) I would love to know what I am missing.

This Township promotes openly that it supports Tourism Initiatives and is Open For Business. THEY ARE NOT. This is a township / community that is suffering loss of business and banks, their hamlets are ghost towns in the northern regions. As land owners in this Township we have experienced the most horrific experience that lasted over three years over a simple rezoning issue that was recommended by two planners. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Haven't lived here long but find our local bylaws for simple things are old and out dated. They claim to be open and transparent to it's residence however have failed so far. They say they want to grow the area and promote it as having clean water and fresh air and beautiful lakes and tourism however are about to ok A Large Pig Farm Business right in the heart of one of it's hamlets "Erinsville" if you enjoy smelling that and dealing with future environmental issues then yes Stone Mills is for you!
