Metro

This is the best little Metro. Beats any Metro in Ottawa hands down. The staff is so friendly and courtious and always offering to help. Store is clean and produce is fresh. This is the only Metro I go to now. It's worth the drive.

Picked up two steaks. They BBQ’d up just fine! Got a tub of fresh Mac & cheese and a Caesar salad kit. It was all good.

Small local supermarket. Most Metro's are pricey, but this one is reasonable. Always friendly staff.

Chris the new owner is a good person, nice store great staff, went there this morning. They were closed but the lovely lady helped me out. They open at 9 am today, Great sales of good quality meat

So the sign says “Our People Make the difference “ generally an overused platitude however for my home town Metro , this is totally true. My young son went over to buy something with my card and had all kinds of difficulties and the lady at the cash , worked him through it although he was so upset . I don’t remember her name . But then just this week as I checked out my groceries a cashier called Eve was so so pleasant it just made my day . So refreshing in a world that has become so increasingly impersonal.

Today I picked up lots of meat specials.

Help me out here people, the workers are not wearing their hair nets all the time, even when they r cleaning, can this be true??? If only the owners here would be kind to their employees, all of them, maybe this could happen. I know... how about listening to your employees. I know u dont have to, but imagine the morale of your staff if you tried kindness and respect when you talked with them. Like do as I say not as I do. How about do as I say and do. Be the change, care a little more. This Husband and Wife Management tries to have kind hearts, they must for the most part, I think yes they should be kinder to all their staff but the staff don't seem unhappy for the most part. I know these 2 Bosses are good people cause they hired my Son about a year ago and my Son at first was so excited they hired him until a few months later when he thought they didn't like him. My Son honestly didn't know that the Management gave my Son an old application, he is young, so, when they hired him he thought they knew everything about him cause he answered all the questions on the application. I can assure you of that. I am his Mother, and my Husband and I are Veterans and I know like all other Canadians you would help a Veteran when you can. So I ask you from the bottom of my heart, to please continue to allow my Son to work at your store, he has learned his lesson and is a good boy, this I promise you. I will be forever in gratitude if you can honour my request and let my Son work for you until he gets his license soon and finds another Job, alot of jobs won't hire him without his license, I thank u for your kindness, it means a great deal to me if you can be kind to him too. Please do not tell him I wrote this to you, I am just trying to help my Son get his best life started. Your kindness will never be forgotton. I give Metro 4 stars for hiring my Son and allowing him to work for them. Thank u

Such a friendly, family feeling environment. I feel very comfortable in this store. It hasn't changed in years, and that is a good thing.

Nice rows and friendly staff.

The Metro has been delivering our groceries since we returned fr Florida. I simply e/mail my order in, they call me for my credit card and it’s on my front deck the next day. Many thanks to Joan, Heather and to whoever it is that is doing our deliveries. I am 67, diabetic and immune deficient. Staying at home is my only option. Thank God for the metro. Veggies, fruits, bakery and the deli products are all top notch. From this point on I will not be shopping anywhere else. Thank you so very very much. You guys ROCK!

Found great deals on Meat. It's the 2nd visit to this store and I've been rather impressed each time. Couldn't beat the prices of their meat at this visit. Staff member who checked myself through was very friendly AND smiling. Thanked me and told me to.have A GOOD NIGHT..... which you dont often get anymore.

In present-day covid reality, it is great to see that cleanliness here is a priority.

The Metro Store in Perth is my number 1 choice for buying my groceries, etc. In the past year and a half of the ongoing pandemic, staff have remained friendly, helpful and worked hard at keeping themselves and their customers safe. Starting on Christmas Eve I had to self isolate and needed a small amount of groceries for Christmas Day. I called the store, someone took my order and called me to let me know when it was ready. I called the store when I arrived, a young woman came out and put the groceries in the trunk. There was a note on the bill wishing me "Merry Christmas" Thank you!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Nice selection from produce to frozen treats. Good deli and bakery departments!

Hats off to the staff at Metro in Perth during this COVID period. They have made customers feel very secure by having all staff wearing face shields. I have not seen this in other local stores. I also noticed that 95% of their customers are wearing masks. Very responsible and respectful of everyone. Thank you!

Knowledgeable staff but usually not enough cashiers so lines tend to be long along with wait times.
