Hollow Log Café

Love this local café. We stop in here every time we are in the area and love the homestyle cooked food. We were delightfully surprised they really cater to gluten free needs and have quite a variety of dishes you can order that are gluten free. They even had the hot turkey dinner with gluten free gravy, which so many other places don’t even consider. Great service. Good food. We definitely recommend it.

A nice little place to grab a bite to eat. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. On top of that the service was outstanding! We would definitely go back again!

We stopped here after a weekend in Keji. The food was home-made, really nice with big portions. The desserts were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful - and best of all the prices were 75% of what you pay in Halifax for a lesser-quality meal. We will definitely visit again. Well done to the Hollow Log Cafe Team for the awesome food & service.

Just finished my chili & onion rings and both were great. Lots of meat and not hot tasting. Everything was fresh and just cooked. Joey enjoyed a chicken Cesar wrap. Clean. What atmosphere can you expect? Looked like sone great desserts too!

I ordered a log loader burger, with fries for 15. The food was good, and fries were crisp. I also tried their poutine and chowder, which weren't bad either. The mocha was really good.

Overall, good food at descent prices and friendly staff..5 Stars from me.

We had the haddock and shrimp special. The fish was so fresh. The meal was very tasty. The homemade deserts are amazing. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Honestly this place is a very no-nonsense kind of place I can appreciate. Real honest people who tell you exactly how long food is going to take, even if it's 45 minutes on busy morning. Pretty wide selection of items, and fairly priced. They've even got ice-cream and shakes for the wicked hot days. The drive up window is convenient for when there are too many people inside or if you're painfully introverted. This is also probably the only place to stop for food on the way to Keji so be sure to stop in!

Great stop after spending a few days at Keji park. Cakes are super delicious.Thanks to the warm staff.

Not far from Keji! Fantastic! Went there for a coffee, tried their cheesecake, I just had to go back to try the other flavours of cheesecake. Three shelves each with three different tastes. Can’t wait to taste more.

Such a gem! Staff are always helpful, there's a fun drive thru. their food is hearty and at a great value. I recommend trying their breakfast sandwiches - they are worth the trip alone!

Great little restaurant around the bend from where my dad grew up and we spent family vacations in the 70s. Simple food, good people.

Stopped on our way back from backcountry camping at Keji. Burgers were amazing, prices were great, staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a good vibe. We'll be making a road trip back to do the Big Rig challenge!!

This place is a must stop in Caledonia...or if on your way to Kejimikujik. Homade burgers and more! Staff very friendly and the bathroom was nice as well.
