Café Jardin

Visited here for the first time on a whim and was thrilled at the amount of vegan options and the friendliness of the staff. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. There is eating space on the inside with further dining room downstairs where there is a small area for children and a nice terrasse out front. I will absolutely be back because I am already craving another Banh Mi Burger.

This is my favorite spot in Verdun - they have vegan pastries which are always fresh and tasty, they have the best 'BLT' that even non-vegans love and the service/people are always so friendly.

Herbal tea for me is good. It warmed up my body so much and it is great for the cool weather. I was sweating my bacon off from the hot tea.

Café Jardin has the flakiest, vegan-butteriest, most delicious croissants! I brought a bunch to a gathering and everyone was shocked to find out they were vegan...they're that good! I've also had the vegan cashew-cream croissant and the banh mi sandwich and both were outstanding.

And a special shout out to the cafe chef/owner(?) - I was looking for some vegan, gluten-free pastry options for 2 celiac friends and they didn't have anything ready, but the chef offered to make some special gf cashew-cookies in 10 mins while I waited—my friends were so grateful! The customer service is always top notch. 5+++

Loved the place! All Vegan. We went for two Cortados, a regular croissant and a BLT. Cortado was very good. BLT was great as well. But what we loved the most was croissant - one of the best we've had in Montreal. In fact, after our meal, we got another regular one and a chocolate one for home. The chocolate one was also amazing!
While there's 2-3 tables at the main floor, they have a large seating space in the basement that can accommodate a large group. There's no table service since it's two people running the show. So you basically order and once it's done, you can take it and sit wherever you want.
They have a small grocery store in the back (which is perhaps another business) which is great to check out while you wait for the order. They also have small plants available for purchase and from what my wife mentioned they were almost the same price or even less compared to the supermarkets.
Definitely recommended!!!

If once the leaves start changing colours, you make Fall your entire personality then look no further than "Café Jardin". Their pumpkin spiced latté is delicious and they can even make it iced.

The interior is also super cute, with a lot of plants and natural lighting.

Amazing eco conscious café! They offer all types of hot drinks to go in little jars you can return. They also have vegan pastries. I had a oatmeal latte and a croissant - both were delicious. I got there at 8:15AM and the pastries were just out the oven and fresh! They share their space with an eco store! Lots of plants for sale in there as well as cookbooks, kombucha, etc.

I had the Banh Mi burger with breakfast potatoes and it was delicious! Great vibe too. Will come again with the family to the kids play corner

Very cool place 🤩 had the big Kahuna vegan burger, with black beans, carrot, caramelized onions, grilled pineapple, very yummy 😋🤠 loved it. Great choices of vegetarian and vegan food. Very nice service 🤠😁

Great place to find vegan food. We had smoothies, panini (Italian sandwiches) and pastries. Fantastic! Very nice and friendly stuff! I can only recommend them!

This is officially one of the best places I have been too!

They have friendly staffs, beautiful interior, amazingly tasty vegan food, and most importantly, they are completely zero waste.

It’s a nice environment to sit down and do your work and reading, they also have really good coffee with different plant based milk to offer with.

A zero waste market called LOCO is just inside the cafe, I did a 5 star review to the market as well.

The food was amazing, especially the purple smoothie! Staff was super cute, nice, and welcoming. The atmosphere was very cosy.

Easily one of the most delicious vegan/vegetarian meals I've ever had. The owner and staff are super sweet and welcoming and the food and coffee are incredibly flavorful and creative.

A must visit spot if you are in Verdun area

This was the first place we tried on our trip to Montreal. The jet lag was hitting, and we were up super early. We came across this place because it was one of the few spots that were open at that time. We were met by the kindest people! They told us about the café and the environment that they wanted to create for the community.

We got a smoothie, a chai latte, and pain au chocolat. Everything. was. so. good. The smoothie slapped, the chai latte slapped, and the PAIN AU CHOCOLAT?? I think it was vegan, but I could be wrong. THAT. THING. SLAPPED. I highly recommend this place. Not just great food, but great people!

My favorite café right now; the staff is amazing, the vibe is great and cozy and the food is all vegan (and *delicious*, especially their "chicken" burger). It's spacious too, and the fact they share a space with Loco means I even can do some bulk grocery after spending time there. Really happy we found this place🤘🏾🤘🏾

Recently moved back to verdun and this place is definitely in my favorites. The staff, the ambiance, the vegan treats. I would and do recommend it to everyone around me 🌸

Relaxed vegan cafe with an attached small health foods store out back. Great for an afternoon work session. No cow’s milk available but alternatives are offered at no extra charge.

This place is an amazing source of really good coffee, both grains to buy, with great selections of coffees made specifically for them. They have also started to roast their own coffee (and it is really good! A nice third wave taste, while still retaining the more toasted taste of traditional espresso. Perfect balance for me).
The staff and owner are also amazing, always really nice.
To note, this is a zero waste coffee, so they do not give disposable coffee cups. Instead, they serve the takeout drinks into mason jars for a 1$ deposit. Or you can bring your own reusable cup.

Love the 3$ an hour deal! (AKA unlimited coffee's and tea for just 3$ for the whole hour) Also cute, quite and cozy. Perfect for studying or just coffee with a friend!
