Really nice campground, the sites were fairly private with a lot of trees. Our site was perfect for our needs it only fit a small tent. Be careful which site you choose, we watched a large trailer trying to fit into a small tent site, they ended up having to go stay elsewhere.

All sites are walking distance to the lake, the lake is beautiful, it's fairly small and quite busy, lots of people fishing, swimming and paddle boarding. Get there early to pick out a good spot!

Their are lots of trails around the campground and a quick drive to Frank slide and turtle mountain.

Beautiful spot just a few minutes north of Coleman. Day use area and provincial campground that need to be reserved ahead of time. Lake is good for kayaks, canoes, fishing, and hiking.

Very nice, walkable campground with limited but clean services. Great for us! Self-sufficient folks.

Several kilometers of trails in the area. And, it's got a great little lake for canoes, paddle boards, kayaks... Portage-able small craft only 🤓 .. No power boats! No boat launch!

We went biking on the nordic ski trails. It was a beautiful fall day. The sun was shining and no wind. The color of the leaves were stunning. An absolute brilliant day to play in the forest!

Excellent place to camp. Not too busy but not too empty. Really clean places at campsites just little rough because the tree roots. Otherwise I Like for camping.

Great campground!

Very comfortable.

Watch out though. We paid the 2 day fee. They came looking for money again. Other comments say this has happened in the past. We refused to pay twice and stayed in our site with no issue.

None the less. This area is epic! Used the campground as a base to hike up Table Mountain and the mighty Crowsnest Mountain.

Nice campground. Great Lake. Excellent hiking.

Beautiful area for camping! Sites are well spaced. Campground is very quiet. Lake is beautiful. The trail network is extensive! Close to the BC border and small towns. Truly a hidden gem.

We stayed here for 1 night but wished we had more. Such a lovely, quiet hidden gem. The spot we got was very private which we loved. Nice and quiet. Short little walk down to the lake to walk the loop and collect wildflowers. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Protected and private campsites. Lake is pleasant for mountain swimming, though can easily become crowded and busy along both the trails and beach areas.

One of the most peaceful campgrounds I've ever been too. Nice semi-private treed sites. Great little trail around the lake not really long, about 2 km. Lots of little spots to stop and enjoy the view or dip you feet. Even saw a rope swing being used. The Loons at night were haunting. It got a little busy during the day. It seems to be a popular day use area with swimmers and fishing.

Great location for camping. Lake is amazing for boating or just to float and chill out. Family friendly too.

Great campground situated in 40' tall lodgepole pines. No services other than pit toilets but they are kept very clean and tidy. You can tell that this campground is not maintained by a private operator! I don't think that there is a bad site in the whole campground. Quiet and the sites are nicely separated from one another. Groceries are fuel are just minutes away.

The Chinook lake is exceptionally picturesque. No cell coverage in C lot. FCFS sites were free on the long weekend, but maybe that's because of the pandemic. There is one washroom that's shared between the camping folks and day use area.

If you are camping, wait till around 3.30 when the day use folks start leaving and you can have the entire lake. Bring your floats and paddles, no powered vessels allowed.
