A very quiet place without any sort of distraction for meditation. I went to volunteer for two days and it was worth it. Had an amazing time. Wonderful way to detox from everything in today's modern life. Went to first Vipassana meditation in 2017 and again planning to go during Christmas break this year.

I had an amazing time on my first vipassana course and I'm so grateful to have experienced wonderful people, teachers, servers and students alike. The place was very peaceful, mostly quiet (apart from a dog belonging to a neighbouring property that will bark all night and keep you awake if you sleep with the windows open - so best to pack some good quality ear plugs if you have to sleep with the windows open). I travelled all the way from the UK to attend the course and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made

This is hard work and requires full dedication to the process. The healing, the results, the understanding and insight gained, and the experience of being more present than ever before in my life has been invaluable to me. This is a wonderful place to have in our province, other locations have waiting lists for months, take advantage! The food was great, and lots of it, even with just fruit and tea in the evening I was never hungry and ate a little less every day. Looking inside and understanding oneself can be difficult, hard to look at, but they teach you how with a universal technique that will work for everyone, but your results will be only from your own hard work. Peace and happiness.

The 10 day course is a great bootcamp to get the mind and body into the habbit pattern of meditation. It helped me to see my thinking process in new ways and sharpened up my mind a bit.

The schedule and code of conduct were difficult and will likely show you that you are capable of enduring more than you thought.

Great people, food and facilities. No surprise hooks during the course to convert to something, subscribe to any belief system, or any guilt trip to give money at the end. No fraternity club or "new levels" of teaching that they roll out either for old students, as I talked to many after.

Can't believe it was free.

Do it.

Simple facility, which gives space for focus on the meditation and teachings.
Food during a 10- day course is amazing! They have a very smoothly ran ship!

Could not recommend sitting for ten days in Vipassana more :)

An amazing place to go for a ten day retreat. There is a very spiritual vibration. The people there are full of love and compassion. A ten day retreat here may end up being one of the most rewarding things you have ever done, but be prepared to work hard... It's not a joke - it's a deep dive into your mind to help guide you out of the thought patterns that cause suffering.

A dear friend of mine recommend me to take this class. I am glad I did. My class ended on 6/10/2018. It was tough but worth it. I still practice every day at home, it helped me more than what I've expected. Every one should join this class and you will see things diff way as you've seen before. Thanks for all the volunteers on your hard work to make it happens.

Great place to learn Vipassana meditation. After you finish the 10-day sit course, I would highly recommend you to work as a server to put what you learned into practice. The 10-day sit course, you're meditating in complete silence, so it's easy to feel peace. When you serve for 10 days, you will learn to observe yourself in a more real life scenario, and you'll start to catch yourself when irritation arise. You can sit in 3 courses straight and you won't learn much about your thinking pattern compare to serving 1 course.

If you're thinking about doing this retreat. No matter what your background or religion there is no religious pressure or blind faith. It based only on your one personal experience and you don't have to fallow all the instructions if you don't understand or bieleve in them yet.

My favourite place for a piece of mind. I hope all humans take the time to learn about themselves. Here is the place... there is at least one in every country.

Caring and safe space. Your benefit is directly related to your input. Follow the rules, each one is there for a reason that becomes apparent over the time. Life changing.

A difficult and mentally gruelling process but the insight I’ve gained is invaluable. Clean and well-run centre and the food is delicious.
