Prairie Oasis Campground

Definitely the best campground I have been in! It just needs to have wifi 🛜 to let us work from there. Super clean bathroom, super beautiful views. Everything was amazing! I could see Northern lights 😍

Birds were singing and quite relaxing.Spotless grounds beach and campsite.

It's a beautiful place here first time been here with my bf and our kids. Better than that noisy city life that never stops.

A true oasis. We've lived in Hanna for three years and just now visited Prairie Oasis. A great location to picnic and swim at the beach. Washrooms, garbage, and a small store. Camping looks great too. *EDITED 2022 TO ADD: we took advantage of the new online booking to book a Monday-friday camping week the last week of May. We are literally the only people here. The site is amazing, the bathrooms are clean, and staff is here daily mowing and cleaning. This is truly an oasis! We'll be back to camp again!

Great campground!! Spacious lots; well planned layout and many extra spaces to space out. Highly recommended

Great beach, the best I've personally been to in Alberta because the sand is so lovely, the water is pretty clear, and also warmer than normal. There is a coal generating station nearby where the steam and hot water is released back into the water, so it really is warmer than normal.
There is a concession/grill which sells beach supplies, ice cream and food. I recommend the poutine! Yummy.
The changerooms/washrooms are clean and have running water although the toilets are non-flush. There is also a little outdoor shower to wash off. And a boat dock.

Absolute amazing place and it lives up to its name. A paradise in the middle of the prairies.

Perfect for a summer getaway. No commercial buildings on sight, not too crowded, just pure relaxation. It is always a "best day ever" coming here.

Great. Clean water, there is a camping. Trees for shade, tables. Everything is clean and beautiful. There is also a toilet, shower, playground and shop where you can buy food and ice cream.

Our favorite spot for camping! Beautiful grounds, always kept so clean. Lovely beach and nice warm lake. The icecream in their store is amazing! Sadly our trip was cut short this time due to winds gusting at 70km and we were tenting! But we will be back!

Very well managed with friendly staff. Spotless bathrooms, which is rare for a campground. Lake is great for boating and the water is a nice temperature. Quiet marina for docking your watercraft if you're camped there as well.

I've known about this gem for a long time but just recently rediscovered this great campground. Wasn't sure we'd be staying here this year without a reservation system in place but showing up Sunday through Wednesday should still guarantee you an opening. Clean large sites & most of them offer a good amount of privacy. Great showers (despite being loonie operated) & laundry facilities are well maintained. The two best sections appear to be the lakefront one & the one nearest the concession & boat launch. Beautifully maintained clean beach on a smaller lake. Can get a little busy for boating & the beach on the weekend but overall people seem to keep their distance. The food at the concession is quite good for beach grub with very fair prices. I recommend the fries/gravy combo & the deep fried pickles. Delish!!!
Almost hesitant to post about how great it is here as I want to kinda keep it in my back pocket for my own getaway. Lol!

It's a wonderful place to stay for camping day and night. They have a complete amenities, washrooms and bathrooms are well-maintained. The lake is very clean and with a fine white sand on it, me and my friends having so much fun at the lake, especially the kayaking. I really enjoyed the place and the view as well, it is a perfect place to relax, and forget the stress life from the city. 👍👍👌

Super impressed with the whole site. Excellent amenities, clean, well maintained and worth the money. Wish we could stay longer. Oh and they have a dog beach!

Nice size lots, friendly staff, reasonable prices and a lake to boot! Could use better Wi-Fi, but this is camping; I can't ask for better Wi-Fi!

Very nice beach, water is warm, there is campfire pits beside the beach as well as the campsites. 2 floating docks then the boating dock around the bend, away from swimmers. Shade close to waters edge. Huge park just off the beach. Great concession too! We will be going back for sure! !

Camp ground was clean and quiet. Beach was immaculate and water was great. Close enough to amenities should you need something. All around a guest place and we will definitely return.

Amazing campground with great restrooms and really great sites! By far my favourite place to go camping with my Family

My first visit here has been impressive, lots of amenities. My tent site included water and power, nice firepit grill and also a campground store with friendly staff. Large modern playground for the kids and a warm clean lake with a sandy beach...I plan to return.
