Avis Car Rental

Came in last at night and Joshua the gentleman was amazing and efficient. Jennifer was brilliant when I dropped off the car.
They provided great service and will continue to come back to Avis !

The staff was friendly and polite. They had our details correct and the carseat they provided was clean and functional for our toddler. The car was clean and odour free. The process took about 20 mins as there was a small line.

Update: rented a second vehicle again and the experience was smooth and transparent. The staff were very friendly and prompt in the service rendered.

I had a prepaid rental. Pick-up and drop-off were very straightforward. The staff were pleasant, the car was great. No problems. I’ve used Avis many times and will again.

Quick service - after multiple flight delays was able to get a rental in less than five minutes due to preferred status. The car was a free upgrade to SUV, a brand new grand Cherokee, very clean and no damage at all. The person at the check out counter was very friendly, offered water and assistance with luggage both of which I didn't need but was very pleasant to see. Have been renting from Avis and will continue to do so in future.

From the time we picked up our car at the airport to when we dropped it off at the airport we were greeted by pleasant and helpful staff. I wouldn't definitely deal with Avis on our next trip. We had a Toyota Camray which travelled well and was great on gas.

Avis at Edmonton Airport had our vehicle ready ahead of our scheduled time. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Vehicle was an upgrade. Drop off at Calvary Airport was even easier!

Rentals are right at the airport. Efficient staff to check in and out. I was given an upgraded vehicle without even asking and no further charge. Great service, great car (GMC Terrain).

Rented a car last minute and was very happy with it. The car was very clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and polite. Drop off at the same location was easy and quick.

No issues at all. Very quick pick up and drop off. We rented a GPS and carseat as well, both ready at the counter for us when we checked in. No complaints with the car or service.

The car was nice. I got a free upgrade...although the pick up was a slow process, which took quite a bit with a line up. The drop off was so convenient, and when I needed to extend my rental, I called and it was done swiftly. So it was a great experience. Will definitely use them when I go to Edmonton again.

My flight had arrived late so I was more than a few hours behind to pick up my rental. Not only was the staff extremely accommodating, the upgrade they gave was an added bonus to a really long travel day.

After a long, emotional day of travel, the staff at the AVIS/Budget desk at the Edmonton Airport were friendly, helpful and compassionate. While the booking was not correct, they were quick to resolve the issue and get me on the road as quick as possible. Thanks to Dana Roberts and Amrit Singh!

Very flexible, considerate and patient in listening and accommodative in our request. Received new, clean and decent Nissan Rogue on Jul 16 and family enjoyed it. I strongly recommend it👌

Very pleasant, smooth pick up and drop off. When I left a belonging one the vehicle and realized two days later, they were honest and said yes. Very helpful on how to get it returned. The vehicle was also clean when picked up unlike some other companies.

We have used Avis companies for the last few trips and have been consistently impressed with the quality of the cars and the service. I have not had a rental car company stand out to me in a long time, but Avis is on the right track!

I was so pleased and surprised. I was expecting to sleep on the couch in the rental area at the Edmonton airport but when I walked in at 12:30 in the morning there was still a lady there at the Avis desk. And bless her heart she still had a car for me to drive all the way from Edmonton to Calgary home after WestJet canceled my flight. I had to get home to my dogs. So I managed to get one car that was supposed to go back to Calgary anyways and thank God by 5:15 in the morning and this lovely lady who stayed late by accident I just happened to get a rental car and get home and in bed by 5:00 in the morning

Low price, great car and staff helpful at pickup and dropoff.
Expedia mixup caused me a headache but staff manually updated the booking to the correct date. Car itself was new, clean and fun to drive. Returning didn't feel like an interrogation for scratches and they were able to update the incorrect date....again with no fee on my side. Will use again whenever in Edmonton.

The “Avis Preferred” system has worked extremely well for me, whether I am flying in canada or internationally. The vehicle booked has always been ready when I arrive, and the expedited service to pick up your car directly, with no hassle at all, is super.
The service has made me a regular and loyal customer for the last 20+ years.

Great experience from pickup to drop-off. Avis tends to be a tad more expensive but the cars are newer and cleaner. The Alberta airport locations have given me some nice upgrades.
