Hertz Car Rental - Leduc HLE

Best rental car experience by far at the Sparrow Dr, LEDUC location. Easy 5 min drive from airport and Hertz will provide pick up and drop off upon request. Chris was very polite, friendly and professional. Informed us of travel attractions to visit on our trip and even provided us with a complimentary upgrade on vehicle. 10/10

My data was not working so a amazing staff member let me use his personal hotspot.

Bailed us out when Enterprise gave our rental away. Good service and rates, located in the Wyndham Hotel. Monday to Friday hours, check ahead.

Friendly enough staff. But it seems that corporate has a lot of rigid policies that don’t serve the best interests of their customers. Online reservations cannot be changed or modified by staff. Call centre reps cannot deal with reservation cancellations, the billing’s department does not have a customer facing centre. So to get assistance for a cancellation, one needs to fill out an online form l, after it is completed you are told that it will be responded to in 3-5 business days. And then for the refund it will be an additional 7-10 business days.

THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!!!!

Had 2 rental trucks through Hertz. The 1st didn't make it 1 day before the tires were in such poor condition. The 2nd truck also got a flat because the tires were even WORSE than the first truck. So bad that I took it to a tire shop and after 1 look, I was told that the tires were flat out UNSAFE and not road worthy! They measured at 2/32 tread (which is almost bald). All these problems cost me 2 full days of work (my time isn't cheap). While dealing with Hertz trying to find out if I will be compensated in any way, I've been yelled at by staff, accused of lying about the situation and just treated so poorly it's incredible. I have phone records, photos, emails (from the tire shop & the body shop verifying all of my claims) I have attached photos of the condition of the tires Hertz thinks is acceptable to send out on their rentals.

I caution anyone thinking of renting a vehicle through Hertz that they are more than happy sending out vehicles in completely unacceptable, unsafe condition. Then when it's brought into question you get yelled at by their employees and called an outright liar.

I'm out a truck rental and now a total of 3 days off work with not even a whisper about any compensation on my end. *(if that changes I will update this review)

Do not by any means put your trust in this rental company. We rented a truck from them for an insurance repair through a body shop. The first truck they attempted to rent us had a flat tire within a day of driving it, they gave us a second which also had a flat within a day. We took the tire off to put the spare on and noticed that the tires were nearly bald. We took it down to a local tire shop and they measured the tires at 2/32nds. This truck was not safe to drive. The fact that they allowed this truck to be rented out not only put our family at risk but other drivers on the road. Lastly, they didn’t do their due diligence to check with the insurance company prior to renting the vehicle to see if they were covering the rental. They found out this after the fact, called us and demanded the vehicle back. The lady was incredibly rude threatening to get her higher ups involved. We will never use Hertz again for any rentals.

I dropped my car off at a closer location to the airport to make it easier on my elderly members travelling. The location was closed. I return home to find out they charged me for the whole weekend! I called to rectify and the lady was not helpful or pleasant. Basically said sorry not so sorry. Thanks!

Very poor customer service, This location does not support their customers and have questionable business practices, very high price, low service is what to expect from this location.
