Stawnichy's Mundare Sausage

Have been doing some work here as a contractor; it's clear in the way they run their business, that they are artisans and passionate about what they do. Not to mention, the facilities were very clean and well managed.
All the products that I have tried are far above average or better. The smoked chops are outstanding, and so are the pierogies which are rolled by real Baba's!

Came across this place out of pure fluke. Stopping for gas in the town of Mundare. Across the street from the gas station is a "Giant Sausage Monument" Went to check it out, which led us here.
We of course googled this business before going. Found that it is very popular in Alberta. Us being from Manitoba had never heard of it.

I am always curious to try different Ukrainian foods as i am half Ukrainian, and we were raised on that side of the family.
Had to try the Garlic Sausage and some Pepperoni. The pepperoni was fantastic.
The garlic sausage was not the very best i've had but it was pretty good. I prefer the course vs the fine.

If you are ever in Mundare you must stop by this place and get wonderful items.
And it was busy in there for a small town.

Bought and tried some Stawnichy's Mundare sausage patties for the first time the other day 😋 and oh my lord! I don't know if they smelled or tasted better! So delicious and perfect I can't wait to try some of their other products.

This place has the most incredible Ukrainian sausages I have ever tasted! I come specifically to Mundare to get those sausages.

Must have stop on the way home. The best sausage ever. Occasionally we pick up the other items like perogies, etc. Staff is always so friendly and helpful!

I don't care what anybody says it is the best garlic sausage in Alberta. I've tried most of them and they have a lot of other great stuff all tastes awesome I wish I could give you guys a six star

Wonderful little place, packed full of delicious goodies!!

I got two types of mustard (though there was lots to choose from), two types of sausage, gooseberry jam (for my dad), orange sezshuan smokies (very excited to try these), and honey garlic pepperoni sticks (I devoured these on the drive back to Edmonton 🤤).

Super quick, professional, and friendly service!

Pepperoni is always fantastic .. try and stop in whenever we drive by/threw town. The bacon is good but do prefer other. There always quick to assist and get you through as fast as possible which can be a downfall but also a plus. Steak strips and smokies also amazing. Would 100% recommend !

The best products and fantastic people, it really doesn't get much better. I can't recommend this place enough.

Good tasty sausage, kind of expensive but once you plow the sausage into your throat you will always come back for more

The best meats I've ever had. My family has been going to Stawnichy's since I was prolly 6 or 7. I'm now 36 and it has only gotten better. They have so many different meats available now. You can pre order for quick pick up. The staff is amazing, friendly, Its worth the drive from red water. I recommend this for anyone at anytime.

The family loves to stop in as we drive through Mundare. We pick up some meat and visit other establishments in town to build our own little picnic.

As always, great products that are hard to beat. Deep fried perogies no longer available- disappointing. Nice purchasing flow with designated entrance and exits. Great attentive service.

A wide selection of delicious meats in a clean and fairly modern facility.
I have had, and would recommend, the following:
Steak strips, regular sausage, cheese sausage, paprika bacon (this is my favourite item here, it's fantastic!), honey garlic pepperoni, regular pepperoni, and some type of beef jerky. Lots of other things to choose from too.
The staff have always been pleasant and seem to enjoy their work; they certainly are good at it.
Good that this place stays in a small town to provide work for the local community too.

They have fantastic beat burgers the vegetarian option. Also have the real stuff and some fantastic beef jerky.

Lovely little town, delicious meat! Worth the drive.
