Nice camp sites by the river. Not the best if you wanted more seclusion. It's pretty open by the water otherwise more trees inward further. Affordable with electricity and fire wood. Clean washrooms. Couple playgrounds and nice group camping , daycamping and staff are awesome! I hate putting good reviews on not too busy places because they become crazy crowded next time I show up there and would love to keep this area clean and not too trespassed even tho it's too late for that. 4 min drive to entwistle outdoor pool for the younger kids.

Great spot to camp to float the river. My family has been here many times so far. sites have power but no water or sewer, dump station available on the way out. Nice place to spent your day.

We really enjoyed our stay. It rained a bit but not a really big deal. Staff were great and we only stayed 1 night. Amenities were good. I'm not positive if they use the stage area at any of these camp sites but I feel like live music or other events would be really amazing while you're camping.

Camped at the Pembina River camp grounds. Well maintained. Staff is polite and helpful. Noise was kept under control after hours even on the weekends. Some beautiful trails along the river for walking/biking.

We travel here from Edmonton here and there. And it's always great. There's a nice beach and in the fall the water is low enough you can walk far into river without worrying the kids will float away haha

I love this park! You can walk down to the public beach area, or in my case, take the path less travelled and set up somewhere on the riverbank and have no one near you. I can't think of a better way to enjoy the sun, scenery, and a good book.

Beautiful provincial park 1 hour west of Edmonton. The Pembina river is fun to swim and play in. Nice sand beach area and also suitable for floating down on tubes.

What can you say about this park other than simply amazing, we love the fact that there is fresh clean running river and not a blue - green algae infested lakes , been coming to this campground for over 30 years and have never had any issues , Evansburg and Entwistle are just minutes away with all the amenities, only concern is a very small dump station and really wish the park would stay open later in the season and allow winter camping

Best to go in late July/August, when the water is low and warm. Love this place! Try to get there early before parking fills on hot days.

Nicely situated on the river. Various length of hikes. Not far from Edmonton with two smalls towns right there if you forgot something.

Awesome experience. The handi parkin was accessible, I'm crippled with a spine injury, an the walk down, with help from my wife, was easily doable. Once down there it was amazing, and the water was dam warm.

Quiet this year as they are booking to 50% capacity. Playground still there, grass was cut. Bathrooms were open. Good weekend.
