Chenoy's Deli

We came here as a family. My parents grew up in this area and my dad used to frequent this place as a teenager. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Will 100 percent be back whenever I visit this area again.

I enjoyed my meal with my wife.
The Atmosphere and decor, brings back great memories from when I came to eat at Chenoy's after the Edgewater dance club back in the day.

My family has frequented this restaurant since moving to DDO when I was 5yrs old. I am now 42 with a family of my own living in Pierrefonds-Roxboro, and the food is great as it ever was! For 50 something odd bucks you get a jumbo smoked meat plate (fries, coleslaw & pickle), and an extra jumbo smoked meat sandwich on the side and you have MORE than enough for 4 people to have a *GREAT* & delicious meal. The staff is so polite and kind as well 😄👍 If you want an exceptional smoked-meat sandwich, this place can't be beat! N.B. I was too hungry and ate 1/4 of the fries, sandwiches & pickle in my picture 😆 Also, go for medium (fat) and classic old-fashioned meat, SO tasty!!👍

Huge portions of delicious food! I had the trio, which comes with a smoked meat sandwich, ribs, chicken wings, coleslaw, and fries. It’s around 25$ for an enormous platter. The personal pizzas are around 20$ and enormous as well. My father had the smoked meat pizza and it looked absolutely delicious. The smoked meat is tender and flavourful.
Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant has a fun mid-20th century diner vibe to it. I’ll definitely be back.

This place has amazing smoked meat sandwich. My wife was craving a meat sandwich while we’re in town one day. She found this cozy place when looking for restaurants around us and let me tell you guys, you must try their meat sandwich. We did not try anything else but I’ll sure be going back to this place again. Service was very quick and staff seemed friendly (as we did the take out and ate in car).

Me and my wife went to chenoy at st jean yesterday on Saturday and its been a long time since i last visited. The smoke meat was the same as it used to be long ago and we were served by a young guy named vivian or viv i think. He took care of us and was really impressed how professional and nice he was to us. Definitely a good place to get smoke meat

Have been going to Chenoys in Dollard since 1977 when I was a little boy living in Chomedey with my parents, whenever I head back to Montreal for a visit the first place I head to is Chenoys for a real smoked meat sandwich, fries, Coca Cola, and a piece of strawberry cheesecake for dessert with a big glass of milk.
Always bring a few lbs of smoked meat, bagels, and a few loafs of rye bread back home.

Smoked meats poutine so tasty. And they made the fries extra crispy like I asked -- the only place to do this right.

Really hits the spot! And matzo ball soup is a perfect tonic for a cold. Balls airy and light.

Special callout for the service. The folks here seem happy to be working here. Such a refreshing change!

This place hasn’t changed in 25 years. Biggest Matzoh ball I’ve ever seen. Old fashioned smoked meat is on point. Has a very cool old-timer feel.

Was at Chenoys on the weekend for a late morning breakfast. Had the simple (yet delicious) basic two eggs, toast, coffee, fruit salad, and potatoes.
Everything was fresh and plentiful. Plated neatly and cleanly. Portions were generous and all was very very tasty. Even the bottomless (brewed) decaf coffee was quite satisfying. The atmosphere was classic Montreal deli style with an ageless design that makes you feel at home - hopefully they will not change this as it is quite quaint as well.
And the service: polite, respectful, attentive, detail oriented, and got the order to perfection - even the extra potatoes and well done scrambled my guest. And he was always making sure that our table had what it needed and checked in with us - even though he had a huge section he alone was managing fantastically.
All in all I wrote this because I found this experience to be not just as good as other breakfast specialty places like eggspectation, l’Ouffrier, and others, it was actually better!! Better in very possible way for that matter. And the bonus, for those who love or appreciate a good smoked meat, you can smell the wafting aroma of their classic and delicious smokers meat warming in their steamer. And by the way, as one of the meats, you can have smoked meat with your breakfast to boot!!!

So be a Tourist or a Local, GO to Chenoys for a great meal and dining experience you shall not regret it. And to boot, the pricing is not par with the the quality, portions etc, it is less expensive than the competition hence - even celle t value for your money as well.

I would w to share my experience with everyone. I went today with my family and we had the smoked meat platter, the food was amazing and hot, the fries were fresh. No words to describe their delicious strawberry cheesecake . Our waitress was very nice and she was always smiling to us.

This place has been opened as far as I can remember. Growing up in the West Island it was always a favorite spot to go to and still is now. Amazing staff and food for a great price.

If you are really hungry over midnight and dont know where to go , i suggest this place!

They open till 3am , it has a nice environment, cozy , and the food is amazing , big portion also.

I had TRIO MYKONOS , i usually change the chicken brochette to a chicken breast , also it coms with 2 lamb chops and smoke meat sandwich, coleslaw , one big pickle and a sauce for 30$ .. im satisfied 😊

My husband and I return here again and again because their smoked meat is to die for! It is lean, flavourful, and delicious! If you have not yet tried it, you are in for a treat. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I came here for brunch with a small group group of 3 other people. We were served very quickly and the good was great. We had a booth next to the window so it was perfect for us to relax and talk after the meal.

Nice, old 24 hour delicatessen in a suburban area. The menu is huge with many choices. The prices are a little high, but it's worth it for the amount of food you are given. They have specials that come with dessert.
