We dined last night at The Fig, and we all couldn't say enough about how amazing it was! The prices were so fair, for the great food. The variety on the menu was what surprised me most. The staff, owners and atmosphere was top notch! We will definitely recommend, and return! Impressed!

Have been following this restaurant throughout the pandemic as I wanted to try it but it was a considerable drive so needed the right timing. Very much worth the drive, a lovely little restaurant in the town of Ripley. Three dishes to share and we had lots left over to take home. Truffle fries, caesar salad and cauliflower mushroom pizza, all delicious and indulgent. Lots on the menu still to explore and they are testing new dishes now, the pizza was on the trial menu. Great experience, very friendly service and a lovely small town atmosphere.

Ate here yesterday for a special occasion and it was a wonderful experience! We started with the crab cakes which were a perfect starter for two people and came with a heavenly remoulade! Had a hard time choosing between a number of tasty-sounding specials but ended up getting the salmon with scallops and creole sauce. The sauce was creamy with the right amount of bite, and the salmon and scallops were cooked perfectly! The potatoes looked good but tasted even better, and the veg was tender and well-seasoned. We were also offered bread with a lovely chive butter that paired well with our meals. husband got the chicken and waffles- the chicken was done katsu style and was so moist and flavourful, and the fries were good enough to eat plain! Cocktails and martinis were to our liking and even though I had no room for dessert my husband loved the peanut butter pie. Service was great, the space was beautiful, and we will for sure be back!

Apps were delicious- crab cakes and bruschetta- mushroom. Had pasta of the day with shrimp and clams. Perfect sauce and portion. Wife had buttermilk fried chicken which was done just right! Caramel -toffee pudding dessert we split and was well worth the try!
John was great. Very attentive and friendly as a server!

Excuse me but fanfreakintastic experience! Anyone within 100km must go. Reservations required. Hidden gem. Returning Saturday for prime rib. Stay tuned...

Such a great clean unique spot in Ripley! The staff are friendly, hard working and run off their feet as always busy when I have been there. The menu has some unique choices and something for everyone. The quality and quantity is over the top! Great selection of drinks as well and love the crystal water glasses and stamped napkins..great little touches! Highly recommend and good idea to make a reservation !

Wonderful restaurant - GREAT owners

Our family has recently moved to Ripley. When researching the area before the move the first thing we noticed online was Fig Studio Kitchen. Right away we knew it was a must visit after the move. Had the pleasure of dining in this month. Everything was delicious. The seafood pasta, pickerel tacos and crab cakes were all divine. We cant wait for our next visit- maybe for brunch. We were not planning on dessert but after seeing the sticky toffee pudding at the other tables we had to take some to go.

These buttertarts are beyond sinful but sooo worth the calories.

Nice surprise in a small town. Reservations are recommended but we were seated for lunch on a Wednesday. It filled up quickly. A more sophisticated menu than you would think you would find. The sweet potato soup with feta was delicious. The Crawford burger with fries did not disappoint. The special of salad and shrimp tacos hit the spot. It has a liquor licence and dessert was available but too full to indulge. Will seek out this spot again. They had an outdoor patio as well.

Can't wait to go back. We just happened to drive through Ripley Ontario at the right time and stopped in for Sunday brunch. I had the buttermilk fried chicken and waffles with the house made bbq sauce. My husband had the Eggs Benny with smoked salmon. Both were presented beautifully, and we didn't leave a morsel! The cranberry prosecco was a perfect light drink. Veronika, one of the owners, served us, and she was rightfully proud of their establishment.
She shared the regular menues with us (weekly lunches and dinners), and we are excited to go back and sample many of them!

I found this place by looking for a breakfast place, and they do not serve breakfast. Let me tell you, it was one if the most delicious mistakes l have done. As the picture shows, I was too busy enjoying the food to even consider my mistake, try this place and ask for the specials!!

Had a great lunch and were served professionally as well as amicably. Crab cake and Bison Sliders were delicious appetizers to start off, then we enjoyed our mains: Shrimp tacos, spaghettini with pan-fried salmon in a creamy dill sauce and a variety of roasted vegetables, Quinoa paired with an aioli. Finally, the strawberry/rhubarb Creme Brulée and Chocolate-y Cheesecake were great ways to end the meal. Looking forward to stopping by when we are in the area again in the future!

Can't say enough positive things about The Fig, very nice restaurant and friendly staff. Everything we ate for dinner was stupendous and the deserts are amazing. Great to meet one of the owners, very nice people. We'll be back!

Veronika and David hosted our wedding dinner and we were extremely happy with the quality of food and service! We have been to The Fig multiple times before hand and have always had great experiences. We knew we were picking the best place to bring our family and friends. We will keep coming back for years to come!

I went in, the place is beautiful, clean. Staff are very friendly. Food quality is amazing and the pricing is great as well glad I stopped in.

Well worth the drive. Innovative menu well executed. Crab cakes not to be missed. Deft hand with seafood, nurses and halibut expertly prepared. Wine list well chosen. We will be back for more sticky toffee pudding. A surprising find in a small village.
