Castle Restaurant

This is our family's favorite restaurant when coming thru town. We stop here every trip out this way. The food is excellent and the staff is helpful and accommodating. Always on the ready to fulfill the needs of the patrons. the smorgasbord is where its at as the kids say "no cap".

This is one of those places where you can get a great meal a great price and be full.
It's an older mom and pop style, it's beenhere for awhile and it's friendly and warm.
Staff always welcoming and helpful.

My favorite is the Chicken Chop Suey, I have to pace my self at the buffet. I could eat all the chicken chop suey in one plate

The dinner buffet was above my exception! They don’t have lots of options but worth the prize for sure. Cheese wonton, deep fried shrimp, rib, fried chicken are all amazing!

The food is very good at least for a guy from northeast of China like me. The price is reasonable. The owners are friendly. I will bring my family to visit it definitely.

We arrived 30 minutes before smorgasbord started. They staff hurried and opened it.
It was hot and fresh dishes.. very tasty.. good selection and I recommend the sesame balls for a tweak to dessert.

No one was hungry all evening after . As food was not over battered...so you filled up on the food inside the batter.

Pretty great value here! The service was great and the buffet had a good selection. For only $15 it was great! Favorites were the fried shrimp and fried chicken. They also had butter tarts for dessert.

The food is so delicious! There is a lot of options to choose, and very friendly staff. I will definitely go back here with my family to eat again. Highly recommended!

I love their food. I am a pork lover and their pork are amazing. The pork is the only main reason that brings me again and again. Even if you don't like spicy still try their salt pepper pork.

Amazing food. Service is always perfect, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Always looking forward to this place with my friends, the Deep Fried Shrimp is exceptionally good!

Everything we ordered was delicious (beef & broc, breaded shrimp, Kung Pao chicken, special chop suey). Fresh, hot and delivered quickly. We ordered from the hotel and they were thoughtful enough to include plates and cutlery. Highly recommend.

I stopped over in Edson and ordered to my hotel. Staff was courteous and delivered exactly at estimated time. The food arrived steamy hot and was as good if not better than many other Chinese outlets in the bigger cities....it was significantly more than I imagined too. Will definitely stop over again.

Love the buffet. Great variety of dishes for the price. The starters were amazing. Very nice staff too.

Don't listen to the bad ones! I just ordered a combo for 1, I am very happy with my meal, the portions are huge for the price, very tasty! I will definitely keep ordering from this restaurant!

We.have stopped here many times on our journeys to & from holidays West. The coffee in the best in Western Can. & the food great! Good portions. There was a Chinese buffet later that evening but we were in a hurry to get going, so had burger & sandwich. They were delish , good portions, but after smeling & seeing the buffet prepped we wish we had waited. Another time tho. The owner & servers are very polite & friendly. Great place to stop!!😊😊. Check it out next time your in the area.
We ate here on our way back from holidays & the buffet was super good, Canadian/Chinese food....there was plenty of hot, clean, great tasting food. We'd come back from Edmonton just for the buffet! The chicken chop suey was great! (I know it's not Chinese, but I love this combo!! Loved it all... if ya dig spice...bring your own & you will love this fare💖👍👍. My wife &I went back on a date nite Aug..... just for fun. We didn't know there was a car show as well....bonus! We had a 32- 3 window coup following us down the street & many more (hot) muscle cars. We went to the " Castle" directly; & had great Chinese/Canadian food!!
We shall do another 'date nite' soon. Yum.😌☺
My family are coming there for a meal in the future....as a date nite & a time for our family future....

The food is excellent, especially the lightly battered shrimp. The staff is very polite and helpfull. They even have a Seniors Discount. Easy access right on Yellowhead Hiway 16 West bound. A Great pit stop on your way to Jasper. Cheers ★ ♥ :) :)

This is hands down one of the best places to eat in Edson. It has THE BEST Chinese Food I have had anywhere. Seriously every other Chinese eatery I visit now is usually disappointing. The staff are very nice. On top of that the atmosphere is very family friendly.

I stayed at a hotel in Edson maybe 6 years ago, and I ordered my dinner from this restaurant. I don't remember why I traveled through Edson, but I never forgot that meal. It was the best damn Chinese food I have ever tasted. No other restaurant has ever come close to it.

I have eaten at this restaurant many times and I agree with most in that, this is a great place to eat. Their buffet was great and staff was friendly. The ginger beef is a personal favourite along with the won ton soup

Best Chinese food I've had in a long time. My entire party agreed that we've not had Chinese this tast. Really enjoyed the meal and friendly service. I'll be back next time I'm in town. 😊
