An amazing experience.
We went as a group of four ranging in ages 29-40 for a birthday.
I’d highly recommend rafting momentum.
From the staff to the setting it is the most relaxed and well organized company.
We camped the night before and the campsites are private, great location and large sites. We paid extra and got the breakfast which was worth it and an excellent way to start our day. The demonstration and information session prior to rafting was very well done. It made us prepared for the unknown situations in the water while rafting. Our guide Phil was extremely talented, making our group feel all very comfortable and safe.
The day was filled with adventure. They prepared a lunch in the middle of the day that was absolutely perfect in servings and the variety.
The day ended with a fun bus ride home and a drink to celebrate our accomplishments.
Upon return we got tokens for a very tasty dinner.
I’ve been with other rafting companies which are great too but hands down I will recommend this company over and over.

Feb 1-3, 2024 We decided we needed a few days away from the hustle and bustle of our happy home. We rented a chalet from Philippe knowing that there was no running water and no electricity and only a wood stove for heat. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s easy to get to and there was a fire already going so it was warm and cozy and he even put a bowl of water on the floor for our dog - what a wonderful welcome. Philippe responded immediately by text to any questions we had but, quite honestly the place is so well thought out and set up that there wasn’t much to ask. The bed was very comfortable (and I’m a poor sleeper so that says a lot), the place is clean and smells good, the decor is simple and rustic with subtle artistry in the interior wood and stone work, There were snow shoes at the front door for us to use. The woods are beautiful and full of wildlife - wild turkeys, squirrels, chipmunks, deer and likely other creatures we weren’t aware of. We sat in the perfect silence in the evening and read, played ukulele, talked and totally and utterly unwound. What a fantastic little getaway. Perfection in its simplicity. A human gets something out of places like this that is hard to explain. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Went here for my Bachelorette party and had an amazing time with everyone at Rafting Momentum. We had Eric as our guide. He was very experienced and passionate about what he does. And he made sure that everyone had a good time. I'm excited to come back to try the Adventure rafting experience.

I was on my bikepacking trip while heading this place for rafting.

So, the great side of place is , when you buy rafting trip you get one night camping , 1 lunch and one dinner as well.

Stayed first night, I was tired as well. Next day we had almost full day rafting which was awesome.

Had a refreshing lunch, veg and fruits.

And went to second part of raft.
At the night you get 2 coins and can have 2 burger, hotdog or veg burger with side . Which was great.

Also I bought second night camping for extra 15$ because would be crazy to bike after that much lat workout( whole day paddling) :)

When It was raining they offered me to take my bike under the roof which was a good :)

If you are looking for a REAL rafting experience where the guides are River people and you feel like part of a family then skip the resorts like Wilderness Tours & Owl and come here. Roxanne, Marc were extremely knowledgeable. I took my 12 year old niece and they were knew how to keep her engaged the whole time. Extremely safe. They know the rapids inside and out. This is what I remember rafting to be.

The guides are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They try very hard to make sure everyone have fun. They are a smaller company compare to other more established rafting company, but because of that, they are more adventurous about which rapid we visit. Unless you are in the family rafting package, expect your boat to flip. 😁 It sound scary but it is also fun. I am a non swimmer and I survived 2 flips. Haha. I am always amazed by how everyone managed to keep the paddle in hand even after the boat flipped. But we all did. There are optional body surfing, which in other words you go down the rapid without the boat. Do not wear cotton jacket or you will be wet all day long. It was about 22 degree when I go, they provided wetsuit for free. I think if temperature is below 27 degree C they will rent it to you for free just to make sure everyone will have fun. For them it is NOT all about money, but more about passion.

We are a group of 5 people, 4 don't know swimming . But it was crazy fun with rafting momentum. Special thanks to our guide "charlotte". She was the sweetest and took us into rapids with such confidence, which made us forget that we don't know how to swim . It was complete fun from the start to day end. It will be the best thing you can do this summer . And the dogs in the camp.. aww they were so cute and friendly.

My friends and I stayed here for a few days and partook in the adventure rafting experience. We had all been on the Ottawa River before and agreed that this was our best experience to date. Phil and his team took great care of everyone.

The accommodations that have been built here are really great and still growing. Looking forward to coming back.

Phil and his team at Rafting Momentum are wicked! This was a bachelor party where the venue and adventure package could not have been more perfect. Our group of 10 rowdy guys were handled by guides Kevin and Tristan. They read the group perfectly and delivered exactly what the boys were looking for. They held nothing back on or off the water. Big thumbs up to them!
The Barn is the perfect place for all social shenanigans. Other campers and adventure seekers were welcomed to join and Phil did an excellent job of managing our expectations as well as the needs of all other groups at the campsite. Evening bonfires topped it all off.

Pay the little bit extra and get breakfast. Well worth it.

Wonderful experience with knowledgeable, capable and personable staff. Mel, our guide for the day, was able to transmit her passion for the sport while showing impressive skills which made for an high intensity yet safe trip. She was flawless. The tour is very well organized while having very easy going vibes so you get all the right adrenaline rush without the stress. BBQ and lunch were great. Campsites are great addition to the experience and the sites are pet friendly. Honestly, everything was thought out for costumers to feel right at home. They did amazing. Special mention to Marc who will not pass a single chance to entertain you in very epic ways.

If you want personalized approach, staff that is passionate about what they do, you have to book your next rafting trip with Rafting Momentum. We went there as a group of 15 for a full day family rafting and we had a blast. We were camping there for two nights, the campground is not huge but cozy and the barn brings a rustic feel and a great area to play games, ping pong or just hang out. Staff is what makes this place special - they made sure we had fun (a lot of fun) while rafting, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed while camping.

What a great experience! I brought my 3 teenaged boys (single mom) for the 2 day experience and I couldn't be more thrilled with this company! The whole team works hard to make sure everyone is having fun, and does their best to provide an experience you can walk away from feeling like you really did something special! I was confident that the team knew what they were doing and we were safe in their hands.

This was such an exhilarating experience! We were so glad we chose Rafting Momentum! We stayed at the cabin for 2 nights (the night we arrived and the next night after rafting).

The cabin and facilities were clean. It was raining on the day of rafting and we rented wet suits so that we wouldn’t get cold out on the river. Our guide, Roxanne, was amazing and a real pro! She made our trip so much fun!

The price overall is fairly reasonable. It included the cabin, rafting trip and dinner. There are no hidden charges. It was all-inclusive (except the tip). And we loved that the adventure was captured on video and photos which we were able to buy a copy! We will definitely go back!

Thank you Rafting Momentum for the incredible labor long weekend! Everything was very well organized and we not only had a lot of fun but we also got just enough of extreme to talk about at the campfire afterwards. Phil is a great captain who guided us through all the currents and rapids to a bright moment of BBQ.

My Husband and I chose the adventure package and we had a blast! It was a cold and rainy day but it was still an amazing experience I would recommend. All the staff was super nice, lots of energy, knowledgeable and organized. We always felt safe, I was worried since it was my first time but now I am looking forward to the next time! We stayed to camp after, the location is beautiful and the main building has lots of space for a variety of activities. Thanks for the great experience :)

We’ve had the family package here. It was such a fantastic and awesome experience for a family who wants to have adventure and being safe too. We have 2 kids ages,5 and 6 .
Our leader was Noah who is such a nice and caring person beside he is an exceptional rafting leader. As a family we are truly satisfied with the whole package and highly recommend Momentum specially if you want to have adventure and also being on a safe side for kids.

I can't recommend Rafting Momentum enough as a full day excursion. Our family of 5 had a full day guided tour, accompanied by three staff members; Philip, David and Edward. The best part of the trip was the safety briefing, enthusiasm, patience and personality of each of the staff. The nature was breathtaking. The rapids were enjoyed by all and they accommodated one member (me) who was done after half a day. Philip set up a hammock and shared his kayak for me to use to pass the afternoon and it's the little caring touches that made this trip! The food was colourful, healthy and fresh. There is a video compilation of the day available for a reasonable purchase price that was so professionally done that we had to take it home with us for memories. They went out of their way to make our trip enjoyable and comfortable. We would definitely book with them again for the family feel and unique experience! Thank you Philip, David and Edward!

Had the best part of my summer 2021 here! The adventure was super fun other than the fact that I almost drowned under the boat lol. The bus ride to the rafting area was very scary...felt like the bus would tip any second..BBQ BURGER DINNER AFTER RAFTING was the most delicious burger I've ever had in so long! We lived in the two floor cottage they have here and it was very nice and cozy for our family of 4. Layed on the river for 40 mins just admiring the beautiful view. Will never forget!!!!

Great experience!! the staff is amazing with lots of fun. They made us feel like we are one family. The staff itself is a family made of fun people (More than what they say on their website). I had a fantastic time rafting with Rafting Momentum. I went mid july for a birthday gift my three friends planned for me. We chose to camp the night before our excursion and enjoyed a really nice dinner provided by Momentum. All staff wore masks and plated the food for us to avoid too many people touching things. Wood was available to purchase for around $7 to have a fire at your campsite.

The next morning we were briefed by Phil about what our day would look like, filled out a safety form and he explained how we would protect our selves and try to social distance while on the raft.

We were fitted for life jackets and helmets and took a bus (everyone masked and parties socially distanced) to the rafting site. From there we were briefed once again about parts of the raft, paddle and rules. We launched our boat and began our experience.

Roxanne was our rafting guide and she was FANTASTIC. She was clear with instructions, funny, happy to tell us rafting stories and introduced us to some rafting "games". We practiced some safety procedures (how to paddle properly, how to get back in the boat) then hit the rapids.

We took the "adventure" rafting trip and hit some pretty intense rapids. It was my first time ever on white water and definitely surprised me but I loved it so much.

Before each rapid our guide would tell us exactly what to do if we fell out, what side to swim to, and what commands she may call.

I felt comfortable and safe the entire time while also enjoying some crazy boat flips and huge waves.

At the end of the trip we were allowed to swim (float) along the river for about an hour, it was the perfect way to end the trip.

I would 100% recommend Rafting Momentum to anyone looking for an adventure. I am already planning my next trip back in September. It is INCREDIBLY well priced (food, camping, parking, rafting, equipment rental) all included in the original price so there are no surprises later on.
